PROS OF THE HOTEL: location, large pool, good reef, good view from all rooms, normal food, NO bracelets, cleanliness of the hotel
CONS OF THE HOTEL: Small rooms, search for coffee at breakfast, kicked out from the beach (not from the sea, but from the beach) after sunset, standard animation, everything is fine until you encounter a problem.

TOUR OPERATOR: JOYCE Tour. We were taken to the hotel, escorted to the reception. The next day, we met with the guide, filled out the forms, listened to suggestions for excursions. We were not interested in excursions and the guide quickly lost interest in us, we did not see or hear him again (at all). We did not care much, but those who are in Egypt for the first time may have problems. The guide did not respond to messages about the departure time from the hotel upon departure, it was good that there was a printout at the reception.
CHECK-IN: We arrived at the hotel at 17:30, there were no problems with check-in, they didn’t ask for money, the only thing was that they forgot to give cards for towels, I had to go to the reception again.

A pleasant moment - there are no bracelets in the hotel, so you need to remember your number right away, they will often ask for it : -)

CLEANING OF THE ROOM: Housekeeping is normal, even good for Egypt. Towels and bed linen changed on request. Everything was overshadowed on the penultimate day, when the cleaner came and said from the threshold that let's not clean it, because you are leaving tomorrow anyway, to which he was refused and asked to come later and clean up.
Naturally, he did not come, but everything was decided by a call to the reception and 2 cleaners immediately ran to clean up. Feel free to complain : -)

CLEANING OF THE TERRITORY: Good, the territory is clean, on the beach a little worse, small garbage (bull-calves) are not removed, but simply dug in.

HOTEL LOCATION: Good, close to the center of Naama Bay.
If you wish, you can walk along the beach (there is a whole alley) to the center, about 3 km. But we did not like the center, very noisy. The old city is more gone.

SEA: The sea is warm at the end of August. The hotel has a nice coral reef. On beaches 1 and 4 there is a sandy entry into the sea. We almost always went to beach number 1, it is the closest and with a reef. I advise you to get up early and take a swim on the reef with a mask.

We saw a lot of new things (although we saw a lot): a large moray eel, once the Orlik stingray swam, quite large, my daughter saw a crocodile fish (it looks like a stone). And in the morning the sea is very clear, even with standard fish it's a beauty.

TERRITORY: small, quite green, clean and well maintained.


POOL: Large, well zoned: the first zone for children, the second - a depth of 1.5 meters and the third - 2 meters. Thanks to this, even when the hotel was fully occupied, there was no crowd in the pool. In the deepest zone of the pool you can jump from the side : -)
LOUNGES: Were always free.

FOOD: The usual, moderately varied, well-prepared food. There was always fish and a couple of meats. Good soups. Grill a couple of times a week.

DRINKS: packaged juices (Guava, apple, orange, pineapple), beer and bottled wine (which pleased), the quality is normal. Pleased with the absence of plastic cups, in the pool bars and beaches - paper cups or plexiglass.

In the bar where the show took place, glass goblets and glasses. They gave a bottle of beer without question if two beers were ordered.

LOADING OF THE HOTEL: For three days the hotel was crowded, it was not particularly felt, except for dinner. There was a queue to the restaurant a couple of times : -) (life hack, go to dinner by the opening at 18:30)
DIVING: We went from the hotel, the boat is so-so, small and tired. We dived near the usual reef, then sailed to the "sandy island", it was beautiful.
On the way back we made a stop (with snorkeling, diving was only for those who have a certificate) in Ras Muhamed. Beauties! The depth is 15-20 meters, in some places the bottom is not visible at all, we saw the silhouette of a shark at the bottom : -)

SERVICE: The hotel tries to show service, but often it fails and gets even worse. For example, coffee (tea) for breakfast: the hotel decided that the waiter would deliver them, but in fact try to catch him. As a result, they went to the waiter's counter and poured coffee themselves. It's nice that at the entrance to the restaurant they meet you and look for a table for you, but they don't control at all who comes in what. A couple of times we observed how the Arabs came to the restaurant completely wet and plopped down on fabric chairs and no one made any remarks to them.

There is a Guest Relation (Russian-speaking girls), but, apart from smiles, they are of no use. One day, the lock in our room stopped opening, called the cleaner, his card didn’t work either, I had to slap the reception in the heat, because.

the janitor, for some reason, could not call there. At the reception they said that the repairman would come right away. As a result, I waited for him for 15 minutes under the number, but he never came.

I went to lunch, complained to Alexandra (Guest Relation), she said she would call and everything would be fine. But after dinner the door still did not open. Another trip to the reception (already with the whole family), they made round eyes there, they say the repairman should already have fixed everything.

We waited 5 minutes for the repairman and already went with him, he fixed everything in 1 minute (the battery was dead in the lock and he just replaced it).

SUMMARY: The hotel has a good location, good views from the rooms, a cool pool, a good reef. But the service needs to be improved. More than $ 2000 for 10 nights for a family of 3 is not worth giving.
