Check-in - for $ 20 they settled in a family room instead of the standard. We were two adults and two children. The room is clean and refurbished. Both air conditioners did not work, the next day they quickly fixed it at a convenient time for us.
The food is good, as they wrote, the breakfasts are modest.
I go to Egypt mainly because of corals and fish. It is important for me that I can swim with a snorkel for a long time and have something to consider. Unfortunately this is not an option at this hotel. Since I didn’t read in detail about the sea in Nabq Bay before booking, I write it myself.
A strip of sea from the shore with a width of 100 m - a maximum depth to the waist. There are places for children to splash around, it’s difficult to swim normally. The bottom is rocky. During low tide it gets even smaller.

A pontoon 100 m long goes into the sea (measured in Google earth). Descent from the pontoon on 2 sides. Parallel to the shore from the pontoon is a coral reef - a sheer wall along which you can swim. Often there is a strong current along the reef, which is unrealistic to swim against.
Often there was wind and storm, the pontoon was closed. After a storm, sometimes the water was cloudy, it was uncomfortable to look at something.
There are a lot of people, constantly someone hurts someone in the water.
So, if you like to swim like I do, OVER the reef, you need a colorful reef, a wide variety of fish, and a few people around you in the sea - then this hotel is not for you.
In general, the hotel is good.
