Traveled together with my husband, in Egypt for the first time. In general, the impressions are positive, for such little money in Russia it is difficult to relax, especially with such comfort. We took tickets 10 days before the trip, so there were no normal hotels left, and it was scary to hope for last-minute trips, as our honeymoon trip could be disrupted. In general, after reading all the terrible reviews, we set off! We went with a tour, we were met at the airport of charm, taken to the hotels - only the two of us were in our hotel. At the reception, an Arab, who hardly speaks Russian, hinted that it would be nice for us to pay him 10 dollars so that he would give us a good room - we were ready for this, so they gave it, although the room was the most standard... I wonder if we didn’t give him money, where would he settle us?
On the first evening they did not know what to do: they were looking for Russians, they did not find a single one; we found some kind of tent from which music could be heard - it was a hookah bar, where every evening there was an idiotic animation program like dancing little ducklings, mainly for children, while their parents smoked a hookah at that time. Everyone was terribly fun... except us. In short animation at zero! Well, then we met Russian guys, it became more fun. We went to swim in the sea, you can walk, but it's better by bus, in 3 minutes you are already at the sea! The sea, of course, is just awful - the hotel is located on a ledge, so there is always a current there. somewhere on the 3rd day the sea calmed down and swimming was not so life-threatening. The entrance to the sea is only from the pontoon, and immediately the cliff is 40m, and if you walk along the coast, they immediately start whistling.
They fed normally, though monotonously and everything looked somehow stale, my husband got poisoned after 5 days, and by the middle of the trip I lost my initial appetite. Beach towels do not seem to be washed at all, only dried in the sun. The linen in the rooms was not changed for 10 days even once. Dirty towels were taken away, but they didn’t bring new ones . . every day we wondered if they would bring us new ones or not, but when there was only 1 towel left, I went to the reception, no result. A day later, she said she traveled together with her husband, in Egypt for the first time. In short, the service is disgusting.
The attendants practically do not speak Russian, the jokes are stupid. The Russians went with sour mines, but the Americans really liked it. There were, of course, normal animator guys (Arab Luka, Russian girl Anya) and a few more. In principle, the hotel is not bad, but it is better to travel with children, because. there are wonderful slides and everything for children, but there is nothing for adults to do there - if only you pay 40-50 dollars each time and you are taken to Naama Bay to a disco. But we never went. We had fun in the evening in bars, walked around the old city, along Naama Bay, went to a hookah bar. In general, the hotel is a four, but I would never go there again in my life! If only it's free.
