I want to say right away that Sonesta Club and Sonesta Beach are different hotels, although they are united by a common name, and if you want fewer troubles on vacation, it’s better to go to the second one... but, everything is in order. Initially, we were offered to go just to the Club, but when we arrived at the travel agency, we were told that there were no places there, but there were vouchers for $ 60 more expensive, but to Sonesta Beach. Naturally, we agreed.... Looking ahead, I will say that for the money that we paid (and this is about $ 500 each) - the hotel is exactly what we need, but no more, no less. Of course, he doesn’t pull five stars (in Egypt, in general, five stars is a very vague concept), but I didn’t want to spit on him... But Sonesta Club is a completely different story. There is much less territory and since it is located behind the main road, it takes a very long time to go to the sea. In addition to this, after the very green territory of Sonesta Beach, the atmosphere of the Club seems to be at least shabby and gray....When we arrived, we had already read everything up and down about this hotel and immediately decided to get better rooms and closer to the sea (because the territory huge and from some rooms to the sea, as well as to the reception, you can walk about twenty minutes at a fast pace). We even expected that we would have to pay a certain amount of dollars for this convenience, but at our request and completely free of charge, we were provided with a wonderful room five minutes from the sea and two minutes from the main building, and these rooms (as we were told later) were considered diplomatic and there was a 24-hour security near our building.
Thus, we were satisfied with the numbers. In general, in one of the reviews, someone wrote in great detail about the location of the rooms (thank you very much, it was very useful! ), I can’t write in such detail, but I know for sure that from 100 to 1000 these are rooms that are convenient in location, but not new and small, so if anyone wants more modern and more extensive, then this is from 3000 and further, but they are located on such a outskirts that you can really get lost.
As for the food, I can’t say that I was delighted, but it could have been worse. Since we went on half board, I can only say about breakfast and dinner. Breakfasts are very modest and after five days they get bored, since nothing changes in their content - these are eggs in various forms, cheeses of unknown origin, toasts and a huge amount of pastries, which we safely carried out just in baskets and ate for lunch... From the fruits at breakfast there were only grapefruits, and from vegetables - only tomatoes, so judge for yourself the variety. With dinner, things were much better, much more choice of salads, vegetables and snacks. There is always a soup and a bar with a nice Italian cooking very tasty pasta. . . so if you live to see dinner, then everything is not so bad. . . )

If we talk about animation, it's easier to say that it doesn't exist. More precisely, it is, but in Italian and in a certain place, so it makes no sense to appear there. But on Mondays, after dinner, a show was shown on the main stage - belly dance, various oriental performances (go - you won’t regret it. I have never seen such unprofessionalism anywhere. ) Only a dance with skirts, which is danced only by men, evokes pleasant emotions (unfortunately I don’t remember how it is called), but this is the only thing you can look at and not die of boredom. In general, every evening during dinner, live music played and a very pleasant girl sang live, and she sang in French, English, German, Italian and even Russian, which was a pleasant surprise (when she sang Glucose's song, I realized how different our stage is from the rest... %))).
The service of the hotel is also generally good, but their occasional completely stupid jokes could piss you off, but if you take it easy and ignore it, life becomes easier. By the way, since the hotel provides free safes, it’s better to put away all money, documents and mobile phones there immediately and throughout the rest, because there are cases of theft, and not for profit, but in order to just ruin the rest, so this I mean, better be careful.
