We rested with friends at the hotel in June 2018, we were in Egypt 3 times.
The territory of the hotel is medium in size, sometimes even quite nice and green. The beach is normal, sandy. You can just walk in special slippers along the shore.
The food at the hotel is not particularly (of course you won’t die of hunger, but the cabbage is not cooked, the cutlets are overcooked, the chicken, meat and fish are put as stolen))) and so on in everything. Normal vegetables, yoghurts, pastries and scrambled eggs/pasta/pizza. There are fruits, but everything is peeled and chopped finely: apples, oranges, melons are always green. Juices, wine, coffee and other junk drinks, as, indeed, in most hotels in Egypt (I'm in Egypt for the 3rd time).
The hotel has 2 swimming pools: the central one is beautiful (there is also a slide there, by the way) and another 1 pool between the buildings with warm water.
Tours

Oh, these guides scam))) Each guide at the first meeting with tourists (on this day or the next) will treat you to take vouchers only from him, arguing that the insurance is the name of the tour operator and supposedly if you take a tour on the street and something will happen to you, but no one will treat you. He tells a story that some tourist did not return for 4 days from an excursion from the street, it seems that he will control you as you relax. Not once during the entire holiday the guide did not ask where we are and how we are resting. Although we were up to the lantern in this regard. So....we take and read exceptions to the insurance rules....Most of the excursions do not fall under insurance at all. And no matter where you buy it, in case of an accident, you will still be treated at your own expense. Although I checked out all the extreme sports that are offered in Sharm. Not a single excursion poses a threat to health if elementary safety measures are observed.
And here I will agree with many reviews - "Excursions from Victor" rule (cross the road and to the left for 5-7 minutes). There is either Victor himself or his brother Minu - freaky guys with whom you do not get bored. The coolest and most positive Egyptians I have met. The guide offered a comprehensive tour for about $70, while Victor's was $45. At the same time, both from the joint up and from the tour, everyone rode in one column along the route. The natural question is why pay more? Another drawback of excursions from the guide..... To keep him behind us, we took the Hamam from the guide (the only price that is similar to the price of Victor). We waited half an hour for the bus, and then for another 40 minutes we collected the same tourists from hotels, and then also brought them back, we were the last on the route. As a result, Hamam 1.5 hours and a stupid waste of time 2 hours. They took 3 excursions from Victor and each time the bus stood on the barrier like a bayonet 5 minutes before the agreed time and the tourists were exclusively from the sea beach, regardless of whether you are traveling alone or in a crowd. Guides, you would learn from such a service, but the focus on maximum profit does not lead to good)))
I wish you a good holiday! !
