In the morning we woke up and saw that there were some red streaks on the walls, whether it was blood, or paint, or whether someone was throwing tomatoes at the wall, I don’t know.... we went to the reception to write a complaint so that they could move us to a normal room, they also began to demand an additional payment for relocation. It shouldn't be like this, it's not right. It turned out that in the building in which we were settled, at that time, repairs were being carried out, in the morning, at 6 in the morning, everyone woke up from the terrible noise of a perforator. After a few days, we realized that this was intended. All people who arrived at night were settled in the same building and then they paid extra for relocation to a normal room. We talked with people who later arrived, they also took 10 dollars for relocation to another building. It's just a SCAM out of the blue. They take money from people. The room in which we were later moved was, of course, better than the previous one, but it also has its drawbacks. During the 10 days that we were there, they probably removed it 6 times. If you leave a dollar or a chocolate bar, he will sweep it a little, throw out the garbage, that's all: there was no soap, some yellow towels with stains, no one wiped the dust on the TV, the table. The second complaint is about the beer, which is poured into small terrible glasses of 100 or 150 ml. This is a sore subject, I think, so everywhere in Egyptian hotels. We wrote 6 or 7 complaints about this, they took action and allowed us (there were 9 of us) to pour beer into half-liter glasses. I don’t know why, such troubles, but we fought with them for 2 days, wrote complaints, reached the senior manager, and almost reached the owner of the hotel. The food suited me, it is clear that this is the food of another country, but they are somehow trying to adapt to us. I haven't heard anyone complain about the food. The territory is huge, clean, everything is cleaned everywhere, you can also go to the sea from 9 or 10 in the morning, they forbid, but you can still go out. From the reception to the beach you need to walk 800 meters, as the territory is simply huge. From the reception to the bar, which is near the pool - 150 meters. There was no bar on the beach, neither paid nor free, no, only one near the pool. If you are relaxing on the beach, in order to take something from the bar, you need to walk 500 meters or more to it. For children in the hotel, too, everything was organized, the pools were heated. There is a pontoon and a smooth entrance on the beach, the sea itself is very dirty, some in black spots, the sea is not deep, but very cold, no one swam there practically. There were only 2 days when you could dive, but it's still cold. The pontoon is so-so, on the neighboring beach it was more pleasant to walk along the pontoon, it was long, and we have such a short one, not big. About the water park, I want to say that one of the tourists cut his leg well on the tile, going down the hill. He hurt his leg well, the water was very red, the water in the pool after that, no one changed it, did not clean it, it was diluted and that's it. There were shops within walking distance, they are located 30 meters from the hotel, but 1.5 meters had to be walked from the reception to the hotel exit. There were also taxis, you could get to the old city, everything is available. I also want to talk about the guide. The guide is a huckster (I'm sorry for my expression), I'm not even ashamed to call him that. He told us fairy tales that we would be taken away and fined if we went out into the city, that we were bad people if we didn’t buy anything from him, on the first day at 9 in the morning we met with this guide, he forced everyone to buy from him excursions. We went for 10 dollars, he offered us for 25 and said that we couldn’t find it cheaper anywhere. The attitude is terrible, we saw him only on the day of arrival and on the day of departure. I will give the hotel 7 out of 10, although there were many not pleasant nuances. I am ready to return to this hotel again, as we met people in this hotel with whom we would like to talk more, they are waiting for us. As for the hotel, everything seems to be fine, but at the same time, there are many shortcomings. I went to Egypt for the first time, and I think, what if it would be worse in another hotel? Therefore, knowing this one with all its shortcomings, do not mind returning here, since not everything is so bad. . By the way, when we chose a hotel, we considered another option - Faraana Reef Resort. We saw this hotel "live" when we were traveling by bus to the airport (we picked up tourists there), it is located at the very end of the street, let's say, only the desert is farther, go and go to the sea there. . . what we saw was terrible, even the entrance to the territory is a nightmare, I don't know what kind of hotel it is. . I thought they don't exist anymore.
