Rested at Jaz Sharm Dreams Resort in early January 2020. Although the trip was planned, it was unexpected, because it was the first time we went to Egypt in the winter. A little preface. We chose the tour for January 3, just like my wife's birthday. Siva Sharm Resort has been booked by us since the beginning of December. At the time, it was relatively inexpensive, but the reviews were 50 to 50. Israel. I did not look at the reviews for a long time, but read about a week before departure. The balance of reviews was probably 70 to 30, or even 20. Where bad reviews prevailed over good ones. Panic. Despair. A call to a travel agency and with a surcharge of $ 100 we changed the hotel to Jaz Sharm Dreams Resort.
We flew from Lviv with Sky Up, we have never had such gentle takeoffs and landings and back and forth (Azur Air, Onur Air, Mau, Utair) - well done crew. Departure was 1 hour at night and early arrival. They bought a water meter card at the airport and went to the hotel. We were landed first. We waited for the room until 11:00, but we were sent for breakfast.
And then the settlement.

First impressions of the hotel - positive, although they remained so until the end of the holiday.

Time to relax. For the first time in the winter back full of emotions. When you lie in the sea under the sun and realize that it is the middle of winter and snow and frost at home. The sun is quite gentle, but very conducive to combustion, because the temperature is not high (at that time it was within 23 degrees) plus a light breeze, and the sun does its job. Burned. By the way, the sand in the sun is warm, but as soon as you step into the shade it is immediately cold. The light day is small. In the morning, going to breakfast for nine hours, they threw a sports jacket on the mountain - cool.
Well, the night is cold and strong wind.

Territory. Green, big, clean. There is one heated pool on site, but it is full of people. And since for the summer, there are many pools. Beautiful children's mini club, children's playground.

Number.
Big, clean, few mosquitoes (for example, at the end of May there were a lot of them, and they were not affected by our or local fumigator). Here we escaped, including the night light near the bathroom, where they flew, and we slept without them : ) in the room standard safe, kettle, as well as iron and washing board. We cleaned every day and even called on the phone from the reception and asked what the quality of service and whether we are all happy. Nice.

Restaurant. Food abounds. Monotonous but delicious. Among the fruits were: melon, guava, dates, bananas, orange and super-tart local persimmon. And it was eaten only by Egyptians, although in fact the tongue stuck to the sky - uhh! There were themed evenings every day.
One grill on the street (mostly chicken). But an ear with crabs and seafood is something. In a word, delicious, satisfying. However, the seats were not so good that we sat down at the snack bar for lunch and dinner.
A few meters more to walk, but you sit, and around a few tables.


Sea. Having written everything, and for what reason I went to deprive in the end. The Red Sea, as usual, is perfect, but it feels like the Black Sea in our summer. You come in "fresh", a few minutes and super - just avoid the appearance of a foot or other private body above the water level - COLD. I understand this is the peculiarity of winter vacation, so coming out of the water immediately wrap in a dry towel.

Beach. You need to cross the road to the beach, but a little. On the first day we came straight from the entrance to the beach and the sea. But, I wanted a drink, and I went to look for a bar with water. He was 50 meters away.
Opposite the bar were empty sunbeds, no people in the sea and we moved our things, by the way, where we first came all the sunbeds were occupied. All the following days we walked near the boulders where it was quiet, free.
Probably because people were lazy or did not know and continued to rest at the entrance to the beach.

Conclusion. I liked everything, especially summer in the middle of winter. I would come here again - YES.
