PROS:

1. We rested 6 times in Egypt in quite famous 5 * hotels (in Sharm). Amarina turned out to be the best service! Friendly and helpful staff. A very special relationship with children. Seeing us with a 9-month-old child, the administrator immediately settled in an excellent room without any hint of additional payments. We also took into account that it would be convenient to drive in with a stroller (1st floor), and that the area would not be too noisy (Bloc 1), and that there would be enough space for a baby box.

They immediately brought a crib (playpen) for the child. During the entire stay, they promptly responded to any requests.

Each of the staff - from the cleaner to the administrator, always tried to cheer up the child (even if they were just passing by). This is cute.

2. A gentle entrance from the sea, the water is clear, without stones and shells under your feet. Shallow - ideal for children and those who are not very good swimmers. The beach is clean, the sand is ideal for building castles, the sun loungers are new, umbrellas are brought, if not enough.
There are barriers. The beach line is quite long.

3. There is a terrace bar on the beach. From 10:00 - drinks (cocktails, beer, juices, water). From 12:00 - afternoon snack: burgers, kebabs, fries, salad. There, in the tandoor, a girl bakes cakes. Everything is pretty tasty. Open until 17:00. You can take and eat on your sun lounger.

4. I can't judge all the hotel's housing stock, but we had a cozy, beautiful room with new furniture and good plumbing. Especially important: EXCELLENT MATTRESSES, comfortable pillows and a very comfortable bed. Number 1129.

The air conditioner was not used because of the child, but he was. It's actually quite noisy. Slept with the window open. But the view of the terrace and a little sea. At night you can hear the sound of the waves.

Plasma was, did not use. But if you wish, you can insert a flash drive and watch your movie.

The room has a kettle, instant coffee, cream, sugar, glasses. Bottled water of 1.5 liters is brought. Usually 2 bottles. If you ask for more, they give.

5. Cleaning.
Usually hotels in Egypt have a clean area, but the rooms are a problem. Even for a tip, if only the feeling of dirt is removed - in the corners, underfoot, on the glass. Here, either we were lucky with the hotel, or with the cleaning boy, but EVERY day, at the time agreed with us, he simply licked the room, and even sculpted sculptures from towels.

Of course, we've been tipping him since day one. $2 a day was enough to keep him and us happy. All necessary consumables changed the same daily.

6. There is no separate menu for small children (and there are many of them here). But if you ask (and thank a little), they can, for example, make applesauce in a blender for a baby.

7. Territory: there is a playground for children (swings, a sandbox, all kinds of ships that you can climb on. There is a water park - but it’s still too early for us. There are pools, including for children.

But we didn’t really go there either (why, if the sea is within easy reach and the temperature is great? ), and we didn’t really see other children there either.

8. Well-groomed lawns and several relaxation areas: hammocks, hanging swings for adults.

9. Tables are served in the dining room in advance, all cutlery with napkins is in sealed bags.

10. There are highchairs for children.

11. As a free bonus, guests receive 2 dinners at their paid restaurants. There are only 2 restaurants - Italian and Egyptian. You book in advance at the reception at the electronic panel. Diversity.

MINUSES:

1. Perhaps, here is the poorest choice of food that we met in Egypt. We never expect anything special from food in hotels in Egypt, we know their features. But there is just very little, monotonous and insipid. Yes, you won't go hungry. But there will always be a feeling that we could do better and more.

- Few fruits: oranges, bananas, guava. Only once were peaches and strawberries. But they disassembled it immediately.
Who didn't make it...

- According to observations, unsorted lunch, for example, is converted into a “new dish” for dinner. So boiled for lunch becomes fried for dinner. Savings in food are very noticeable.

- Fresh vegetables are very weathered. Sluggish cucumbers, tired tomatoes, drooping greens.

- There are also questions for cooks: either the boiled potatoes are semi-raw, or the meat is rubbery.

- AMOUNT.
We were also lucky - somehow there was a moderate number of residents. And on the last day we found a new race. People in the dining room - do not push through. There is not enough food. They take it apart faster than they deliver it. I think this is a flaw in the organization of the process. Spoils the perception of the hotel. People should not stand in droves for food, snatching the last piece of pizza from each other. Especially in a pandemic. Fat minus.

2. LOUNGE LOUNGES on the beach: Yes, if you do not take a seat in the morning, leaving a towel, you run the risk of being left out of work.

No, of course, at the request they will bring a sun lounger and an umbrella, but the places themselves on the beach may not be enough. Close to someone.

3. VERY intrusive promoters on the beach. There are many of them, and like leeches. Some had to be rude. It was especially annoying when the child was sleeping, and they loudly offered something.

4. MASSAGE: I advise you not to go for special offers for the course. Try once, then decide. After the first time, we realized that yes - ok, but not worth the course of 5-10 times. They do it if only, the movements are sharp. As if they neglect you in advance and smile only for the sake of form. Instead of the promised 45 minutes, it was 30.

5. Free trips to paid restaurants as a bonus: yes, variety, yes, in general, delicious. But there is a feeling that the same chef cooked, and still UNDER.

6. Alcohol, if you're interested, is very weak. Don't get drunk. : ) And yes, they give it in small cups of 100 ml. It's annoying when you stand in line, you take 4 glasses, but in fact it's only 200 ml of beer per person.

7.
MOSQUITOES: in calm weather, they begin to devour. But if in other hotels we were always given an outlet with a pill, then at our request for a special equipment, 2 people ran into the room: one, without asking or explaining, began to spray some kind of aerosol (by smell - dichlorvos), shouting something loudly among themselves . We were shocked. They were not even embarrassed by the baby sleeping in the crib. After that, I had to spend another 2 hours on the street (to feed Mosquitoes) in order to ventilate the room.

Fat minus.

Will we come back here again: with a child, probably, yes. Not recommended for romantic single couples.
