Were together with Ilya (he wrote a review here already). We are the same Yuliana and Kostya.
We arrived on the 5th. I REALLY enjoyed flying from Sheremetyevo with NordWind airlines. The terminal is small, cozy and there are no hellish crowds like in Domodedovo. The flight was almost exactly on schedule. There was some small Boeing. They flew like on rails. Sat great. Upon landing, they immediately opened a pre-purchased Martini. We went through all the procedures in 10 minutes. Then immediately to the minibus and to the hotel. We drank martinis all the way. Was good. Two hours drive from the airport. The landscape is depressing. But for those who are in Egypt for the first time - like it. Almost finished the bottle. Arrived at the hotel. Immediately disappointed. Taba was chosen for a trip to Israel on its own. And here to the border 20 km. Although you look across the strait - and here they are Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Hanging pear - try to eat. Okay, let's go to the hotel. New, but already some shabby slightly. Bullshit. In Egypt, they have already seen everything, and this is not the worst option. They promised to settle only after 12. But without any problems they let me go to the sea and to the bar. Immediately charged whiskey and cola.
Ilya was right. There is no entrance to the sea. And when they make a pontoon - the hotel will generally be magnificent. Especially for its price.

Loaded with whiskey. Went to settle down. The rooms are really all with a view of the sea and the pool. By the way, the sea is VERY close. Especially for Egypt. From the bar 20 meters. The room had no hot water, hangers. The hangers came and hung up quickly. The water was made in the late afternoon. The TV had 16 channels (or more). Russian 1, but also excellent. This is rest.
Then everything is routine. "From trough to trough". Breakfast. lunch, dinner.
The animation was the most original we've seen. 4 Argentines. (2 M and 2 F). At first they thought - why))? The hotel has Russians, Ukrainians and French. And then it turned out. that they teach the language, and teach dance, and always smile, and always at the disco they will show an example of how to dance. There is only one positive from them.
So they rested until November 9th. And then in the morning they did what they planned. Trip to Israel on your own. Before that, read a lot of reviews on how to do it.
Let me describe some of the points again.
Breakfast at 7 am. On the eve of dinner, sandwiches, fruits and water were loaded.
Refreshed. We leave the hotel to the road. A few hundred meters towards the border and we catch passing vehicles. Caught. Agreed to the border for 15 dollars. Brought directly to the Hilton Taba - that is, to the very border.
It was at 8 am. There is NOBODY at the border but us. Really. Many fellow travelers at the hotel went to Israel with excursions - leaving the hotel at 2 am. 3 hours to stand at the border. to hell-to hell. The price tag of the tour from the hotel "one day" - $ 175 per person.

The Egyptians asked for £.4 (less than a dollar) for exit stamps. A couple of minutes and we are in neutral territory. Israel is 20 meters away. Even the customs officers look more civilized there. than the Arabs. They smile. Nothing was taken for entry. They only asked WHERE and purpose. Elementary. 5 minutes to the entire border. Have passed. 20 meters to a public transport stop. We read that it goes regularly and cheaply. We need bus 15. We decided to "go to meet him. " We went through there a bit. We catch. Trying to get in - fic. For the first time I see that they do not take dollars - they only require shekels. And these shekels can only be changed in Eilat (the nearest exchanger), just where we need to. The moment is unpleasant - rarely anyone writes about it in reviews. On the other hand, there is just darkness taxi. They agreed to take us to Eilat for $8. But we decided on our own
There are also hotels on the Israeli side. There are many Russians there. They see our attempt to get on the bus and give advice. Walk along the coast 333 FREE bus. Once an hour, but it goes exactly where it needs to go.
And that's just him. Sally let's go. Elementary. In Eilat, it was funny that the airport was right in the city center. Opened from all sides for review. We got off at the bus station. They exchanged dollars for shekels. The exchange rate is approximately 1 dollar - 3.6 shekels.
We bought bus tickets to Tel Aviv right there.
I’ll clarify right away - we went to friends in order to sit in the evening and spend the night. They didn't see each other for 15 years. Those who want to follow in our footsteps - book a hotel. Will increase the cost of the trip by about 50 dollars.
We got on the bus and went to Tel Aviv. Everyone speaks English. It helps out. There are many teenagers in military uniform on the bus. This is the army. In a very interesting way. On the weekends they are allowed to spend the night at home. Boys and girls from the age of 18 serve there. Girls in cosmetics. No problem. Many have automatics. At first it was unusual, then it became a normal part of the surrounding reality.
Lyrical digression. Then they told us something about the army. There is no hazing. Almost everyone is eager to serve. This patriotic propaganda bears fruit, and the military past, and bonuses after the army. It is customary to give a "one-time gift". For those who served it is one and a half thousand dollars. Plus benefits in study and further work.
Tired of serving - go to a psychologist. Tell the reasons and demobilize. But then there will be no bonuses. We saw how some army men - of different sexes - almost had sex in buses.

We went to Tel Aviv via Dimona (there is a nuclear reactor), Beer Shiva. Almost nothing was known about Tel Aviv. The first thing that struck me was the bus station. We arrived at 6!!!! ! floor. There are three floors below us - a huge shopping center-oriental bazaar. There is everything from a sex shop to McDonald's.
It took 5 hours to get to Tel Aviv. Ticket 73 shekels per person.
Met friends. We went to beautiful places. In Tel Aviv, look at Jaffa - something like the Old City. Located on the Mediterranean coast. Great view of Tel Aviv.
We spent the night with friends - we went to the Bus Station. There at 8 am on the bus to Jerusalem. It is only 60 km from the city to the city. Ticket 19 shekels per person. Less than an hour and we are in Jerusalem. Immediately bought a return ticket to Eilat. Bus number 444 leaves at 11.14 and 17-00. Ticket - all the same 73 shekels.
Next are two options. Or to the old city by regular bus, or on foot along the curved old streets. We chose the second. I wanted to see more. Down Yafo Street! ! to the old town about 30 minutes at a quick pace - an hour slowly.
We arrived - the weather is magnificent - at 9 in the morning it still does not fry. The atmosphere in the Old Town is great. Such antiquity underfoot. The landscapes in Jerusalem are unearthly. Hill city.
Our destination was the Western Wall. Found on the signs elementary. They came to it from the wrong side, from which tourists are brought up. In fact, they also walked together without queues and crowds.
The spectacle is grandiose. People from all over the world go to the Wall. And the ubiquitous Chinese, and the same Italians, and the real orthodox.
There are two approaches to the Wall. For men and women. Men are given kippas. Women's headscarves to cover their shoulders.
The wall is cold. To each crevice - notes with desires. They also left theirs. The wife cried. He says - covered "energy".
They took water. Nobody climbs to anyone. We were about to leave - we met the first group of Russian tourists. You need to shoot such guides. A woman guide to tourists: "Well, is 15 minutes enough for you on the wall? And then we meet at the toilets. We still have a lot of temples ahead of us. Faster, faster... "
Fuck it, fuck it. . .

We left the Old City in a different way. Walked around, admired the landscapes of Jerusalem. A city you must visit.
Then back to the bus station.
At 14:00 we boarded the 444 bus. In Jerusalem, the bus station is slightly smaller than in Tel Aviv - we set off from the 3rd floor.
An hour later the Dead Sea appeared. We drove along it for two hours. In some places it was 5 meters to the water - no more. Beautiful. Especially when you climb high high into the mountains, and then descend back to the sea.
We arrived in Eilat at 6 pm. Then take a taxi to the border with Taba. Further, too, what is rarely written in reviews. Israelis charge $30 per person for departure. Well, at least there are still no queues. Everything is fast. The Egyptians charge some kind of tricky entry tax. Approximately $15 per person.
Then the taxi and at 7 were already at the hotel. Just in time for dinner.
They flew from Egypt with Orenair. Haven't seen this shit in a while. Russian plane. Squeaks and rattles even when taxiing for takeoff. For a long time they did not allow landing at Domodedovo. Sit hard. The crew and stewards are rude.
In Moscow it was +8.
