We rested at the hotel with my husband at the end of 2010 (in the first half of December). My husband had an anniversary and plans were to visit the Holy places of Israel, Mount Moses. Excursions were taken from Natalie tours, everything is fine, like clockwork. Prices are cheaper than other tour operators. A little more expensive than the locals, but calmer and no extra fees. The hotel was chosen because of its proximity to the border. We spent a total of 3 days at the hotel. The rest of the time on the road. We expected that there would be some congratulations from the hotel on the 50th anniversary in the room (usually such dates are tracked at the reception) - nothing like that. As for the hotel: 1) the room is good, everything worked, the furniture is decent, they cleaned every day, they left 2 bottles of water (at the end we had 7 pieces, although we drank plenty, boiled tea, coffee), made figures from towels - towels , by the way, 5 pieces also accumulated, except for the main ones that were used. Here 5 points. 2) Dining room. It's the DINING ROOM! You can't call it a restaurant. If you have been to other hotels in Egypt or Turkey (even more so! ), You will be surprised, to put it mildly, that the waiters are here only to clear the table. To take drinks, wine, beer. . go to the counter, stand in line, get half a glass (single small). Everything is thought out : ) I don’t want to go a second time, the savings are amazing. FIRST time in all the time we were faced with the fact that tea, coffee only in the morning. During the day and in the evening, you need to go to the pool bar or to the second floor, take tea or coffee there and go to the DINING ROOM. A couple of times you go and score. As a result, the hotel also saves on desserts (I somehow don’t feel like cakes without tea) WHO IS FOR THE FIGURE - THIS IS HERE! : ) Baking, indeed, as already mentioned, is completely tasteless, somehow sad : ( We tried it a couple of times and didn’t want to anymore. Vegetables - tomatoes, cucumbers, cut into pieces. There are practically no salads. No fruit, only fruit salad (everything floats in a strange cloudy juice from these fruits) no one knows when sliced. The second is delicious. Indeed, there is always fish - either baked, or grilled, or stewed. . . SUPER! Chicken is delicious. You won't want to corrode there. . . So. . . the worm has died from there too! DINING ROOM is small, how it will cope in summer is a big question. 3) The beach. One step away from the hotel. We were not bothered by the water. Fins were not used. We just swam in ordinary sports slippers. But the coral reef is 5 meters from the shore. For those who swim well, but are afraid to sail far, here is what you need. Swim along the reef, admire. Rowing a couple of times and already standing on the sand (between the corals and pebbles there is a small sandy ridge - convenient), rested and back. So with children - teenagers it is very convenient. Everything is close to the shore and there is no danger. Hedgehogs sit in corals. But who walks on corals? ! In general: beach (bulk sand) - pebbles (entry into the water) - sandy ridge (we are standing, put on a mask) - corals (we swim over them from half a meter, the depth is waist-deep, swimming in fins is not very convenient, but you can adapt, especially the width small). Entry on the left, the best opposite 3-4 loungers). 4) Pool. Beautiful. By the pool in the bar from 15.00 always ice cream. You can take as much as you like. There was never a queue. I don't know about heating. We are against swimming pools at the sea : ) As a result: we will not go to this hotel anymore, even if we plan excursions to Israel again. In general, the impression that you are on your own, the hotel staff on their own. Service NO. All that's good is the animation. Usually in Egypt it is in the red, here it is in PLUS. We looked at the price. Horror! Has risen in one and a half times in comparison with the first-second month of work. FOR WHAT? !
