A week has passed since the arrival from Egypt, and my thoughts are still there. I celebrated my 50th birthday at the hotel. Didn't feel much loss from it. the sea was gentle, the marine life was fabulous, and the sun was not burning. The water temperature is not lower than +20, and the air temperature is +26, although sometimes a piercing breeze blew from the sea. But wicker fences and strong drinks helped to cope with it. Whiskey, rum, brandy are almost the same taste, and among light drinks, men preferred the so-called "anise". Good beer, cola, sprite, fanta, etc. They have 4 bars + a restaurant. There is an ambiguous opinion about the restaurant, the chef is very smart and his cooks are always clean. But the "waiters" left much to be desired. But nevertheless, my husband and I were served on a festive evening by the maitre d' himself (albeit for a fee), at the end of dinner they turned off the lights in the entire restaurant and brought in a chocolate-fruit cake with candles to the sounds of some local "drum". Well it's all lyrics. The hotel is really green, spacious, if you don't want to see construction sites, don't climb where you don't need to. It is worth going to the Dead Sea and to Jerusalem, to the monastery of St. Catherine. Although the prices for souvenirs in Israel and in Nuweiba (this is a neighboring CITY) are not for children. We bought from Mario in Nuweiba. Naturally traded. After the tour, we were brought to Dahab, so the prices there are simply atomic. Nevertheless, nothing could spoil our holiday, even the riots in the major cities of Egypt. Everything was calm in the hotel, the tourist police came every morning as usual.
