The hand did not rise to give a rating of "1" to the rest in this hotel - all the same, some pluses were also present.

If you are a fan of a "party" holiday, then the Holiday Inn Resort Taba is definitely not for you. No animation, no discos, in short, nothing at all. One tourist from Ufa was hanging out in the souvenir shop in the evenings, where the Arab seller spoke English quite well, so they talked.
Shops (two souvenir shops, one with aromatic oils, one with a la precious jewelry) in the hotel. Outside the hotel is an absolute wilderness, except for the civilization of a couple of construction projects of new hotels.

The territory of the hotel is large, which is a plus; it is not very poorly groomed - this is also a plus. Flowers, palm trees, picturesquely laid out paths - all this also pleased. A lot of flies - super annoying.

The hotel rooms seemed quite decent to me (I note, however, that I am not picky - no matter what it concerns, including rooms, therefore it remains incomprehensible to me - this is how optimistic you need to be in order to be satisfied with your holiday in Holiday, and there are positive reviews, and after reading them before the trip to the Holiday Inn Resort Taba, I tuned in very positively). The shampoo in the room ended up on the bottom of the dispenser, but that didn't upset me at all. I always take soap and shampoo with me. But the fact that there is no hot water in this hotel is already worse. That is, it seems to be there, but it is not there: you open a tap with hot water, it flows for 10-15 seconds ...and ends. You can do: option number 1 - close the tap, wait a minute or two (during which something incomprehensible happens in the plumbing and water heating systems of the hotel), then open it again, wait a little and bathe in another 10-15 seconds hot water.
Then repeat all over again; option number 2 - splashing in cold water (personally, it seemed to me simpler).

Now about food. In principle, you won’t die of hunger, but it’s best to come for breakfast-lunch-dinner before opening, as the food (the best dishes) runs out quickly. And drinks are first poured into glass glasses, and then, when the glass ends, into plastic ones, and poorly washed ones. All dishes are clearly not prepared for connoisseurs of healthy food - they are stuffed with spices be healthy, and (or) fried in oil to a burnt crust. There were fruits, but few, mostly dates. Sweets were in abundance. From spirits I tried only beer - excellent.

Sea-beach: both are not very clean. In the sea, along with the fish, polyethylene balls swim, and at times it seemed that there were more of the latter. The coral reef, however, is very beautiful - this is the only absolute plus of the hotel (if, of course, you do not pay attention to floating debris).
With sunbeds, the situation is very combative. It is necessary to score them as early as possible, at seven o'clock, and no longer get off them. It's like in a children's saying (I'm sorry) - the ass got up - it lost its place. We tried to take a sunbed before breakfast, but we immediately made sure that the number would not work - when we returned, other citizens were already lying on our sunbeds, dropping our things right on the sand. What do you want? Who is agile, he is happy!

As I said, Holiday Inn Resort Taba is not for those who like to have fun in companies (except in the companies of pensioners). But the funny thing is that this is also not a place for a relaxing holiday (which I personally, in fact, counted on). Yes, it's a wild place. But it’s also impossible to lie down calmly, to be, so to speak, alone with mother nature. Let everyone forgive me, but Russians, Ukrainians do not know how to behave: children and adults communicate in such a way that everything is heard on the other side of the Gulf of Aqaba, in neighboring Jordan.
Once I saw a picture from which I was simply horrified: a Russian father, mother, daughter, about seven years old, walked along the beach (naturally yelled at the whole Sinai) and beat crabs with stones.

Further about the excursions - this is a complete atas! I tried three times to go to neighboring Israel and Jordan, and they threw me three times: once a Pegasus tourist, twice a Tez tour. If I even went to Cairo through Pegaz, and they didn’t have time to get visas to Israel, then the Tez tour didn’t take us anywhere at all. With Israel, they missed their visas (on the third day, only after I bought the excursion, they realized and returned the money), and they rammed with Jordan, changing the departure time from the hotel half an hour earlier. And although they took my mobile phone number, they did not bother to call and say that the bus would leave earlier. They returned the money, admitted their guilt, but that didn’t make it any easier for me.

And finally, about the staff. Arabs are Arabs. In short: went for a massage, paid for it.
They began to rent a room before leaving - at the reception they presented an invoice for a paid massage (75 USD), plus they threw 25 USD on top of the fool. e. At the expense of 25 c. u. That is, they did not argue, the first time they admitted that they had "miscalculated", but at the expense of 75 c. u. e. argued for a long time. Only when the general manager was called did things move forward.
The hotel staff do not speak Russian, not everyone speaks English, and not very well. "I don't know" was the most popular response from receptionists.

And remember, if you fly, then to Taba airport, because it is very far from Sharm. And, also keep in mind that the Hilton Hotel was bombed in Taba in 2004.
