In Helnan Taba 3 * we rest for the third time. For a 3 star hotel it is excellent. Helnan Taba is located on the very seashore, there are always few people.
The hotel staff already knows us as regular customers. Settled in a nice room on the 2nd floor, and naturally overlooking the sea. The room is very nice, comfortable, furniture in good condition. Bathroom is ok too. Our favorite place was a cozy balcony with a table and 2 chairs. In the evening, it's great to spend time there, and admire the evening lights of Saudi Arabia and breathe in the fresh sea air.
The food, of course, is average, it used to be much better. The change of the owner of the hotel obviously did not benefit. But we always found something to eat, we didn't go hungry. Breakfasts are light and dietary (boiled eggs, fried eggs, cereal, cheese, sausage, similar in appearance to artificial, pancakes and a couple of types of croissant buns. Lunch and dinner were met with greater joy, especially men (1-2 types of Egyptian miracle soup , chicken, beef, rice, potatoes, pasta, vegetable salads). There were few fresh vegetables and fruits, but they really wanted them because of their absence. Baking for dinner was more varied. We didn’t even try alcohol, we didn’t want to experiment.

Well, the sea and the beach are just gorgeous! The beach is neat, the sand is clean. There are enough sun loungers on the beach, vacationers in mid-March could be counted on the fingers. There are good coral islands, a lot of fish. Moray eels were seen every day, lionfish were seen several times. The beach is sandy, but in some places there are pebbles.
The staff is normal, friendly and not arrogant. But we did not often meet with the staff, they worked, and we rested. And we didn't interfere with each other. The animators in the hotel died out along with the mammoths, they simply did not exist
With the change of owner, the hotel has changed for the worse. Nevertheless, we love this hotel very much, the place for the hotel is very good, beautiful and very quiet, the sea is nearby. I hope that the hotel management will correct their mistakes. If you take a little care of the hotel, improve the food, you could easily assign 4 stars to it.
