We returned from Egypt a week ago. Before the trip, we read a lot of reviews about the hotel where we were going. Now I'm excited to share my experience. Perhaps I'll start with the fact that we went to Egypt for the second time. After the first visit 4 years ago (and it was a honeymoon trip), we decided that we would not return here again. Now I am very pleased that after a few years we changed our minds - the rest was a success. There were no problems with the flight, transit, or accommodation. Didn't have to wait a minute. After $ 20 left in the passport, we immediately changed the room - they wanted to settle with a view of the mountains, but as a result we got a cozy room with a view of the pool and the sea. The staff at the hotel is very friendly, it was worth meeting any of them on the territory - a smile and a greeting followed by all means. In the restaurant, the waiters usually came up immediately and themselves, literally with the exception of a few times. I don’t know about the restriction on ordering drinks - we drank only water and juices, in the heat there was absolutely no desire to drink alcohol. The wine was ordered only on the last day, and then rather for the sake of interest, we did not like the taste at all. At the expense of juices - nectars were served, there were no freshly squeezed ones, sometimes it was felt that even nectars were diluted with water. The tea also left much to be desired. The food is quite varied, there are a lot of vegetables, with worse fruits. But these are all such trifles compared to the awesome nature, the stunning territory of the hotel and the general atmosphere of some kind of home comfort and peace that we felt on the very first day of arrival.
I liked the daily animation at the hotel - what is the morning exercise in the meadow with a light breeze and unobtrusive pleasant music, and before dinner - water aerobics in the pool with elements of oriental dances. I confess - I looked forward to every day. There were also belly dancing, football and evening shows for those who wished. There was a kids club for children. Very nice team of animators - tried their best.
Separate history with excursions. Initially, we decided to dedicate the rest to complete relaxation and doing nothing. Therefore, we went only for a boat trip on a yacht. Attention underwater world lovers - the coral reef of the hotel is much more beautiful and there are much more fish there than in the few places where we were dropped off to dive from the yacht. Well, at the expense of collecting on excursions - if you are waiting for a bus for an hour - this is normal, longer - you can start to worry and call the guide. Punctuality is not for the Egyptians.
A lot has already been written about the territory of the hotel - it is very green, very large and sooo beautiful. We walked along the waterfront - the other 3 hotels are much inferior. The sea was a bit cool, so we preferred to spend time by the pool until lunch, and then we went for a swim with a mask and admire the fish. Even for those who are afraid of the depth, the fish are perfectly visible from the pontoons. For two days, an octopus swam almost to the shore - it's a pity that I didn't have a camera with me. There are few people on the beach. Everyone starts to converge to the pool closer to 11-12. We went to 7 for breakfast and immediately - to sunbathe, the sun at that time was already in full heat. Such beauty - warm, amazing water - and no one around. Lunch and dinner also went to the opening of the restaurant - then a small queue gathered. At first, they strained the checks a little, which had to be signed at lunchtime and in the evening, but then they got used to it. It's just that sometimes the waiters forget to write "amount -" 0 "on the account, but upon departure, there were no surprises in the form of unpaid bills.
Didn't want to leave. I would love to come back here again, despite the minor flaws. After all, the main thing in rest is an inner mood and a feeling of complete spiritual comfort - which we received in full. And the negative - it can be found everywhere, there would be a desire.
