It was the 3rd time in Egypt. I think that the hotel is fully consistent with 4 Egyptian stars and its price (3 days before departure, they took vouchers for 8 days for $ 515 per person, the usual price, of course, is a little more). Period: end of April - beginning of May.
Now more.
Location.
We drove from the airport for about 30 minutes. There is nothing near the hotel, i. e. there is nowhere to go for a walk outside the territory. On the other hand, people usually go to Taba for excursions to Jordan and Israel, for an active nightlife - this is Sharm. There are a minimum of shops and a pharmacy on site. It is not hot, as there is a constant wind from the sea or mountains. The landscape is wonderful: behind the incredible mountains, in front of the sea in the coastal lights of Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia. The reef is just great, there is a pontoon. The beach is large, there were enough sunbeds under umbrellas for everyone, you could find free ones at any time.
Rooms.

All rooms are large and overlooking the sea, so do not rush to give a bribe when settling, perhaps you will like it that way. Settled immediately (arrived at lunchtime). Towels were changed every day. The beds are big. Safe in the room is free. There is a hair dryer. There is a kettle. The air conditioners work but are noisy. Water in the fridge - 2 bottles upon arrival. Of the toilet products, only liquid soap (it's a shower gel, it's also a shampoo). So it's better to bring your own hair products. There is also an elevator in the building, which is convenient. Some rooms do not have a balcony, but have a floor-to-ceiling window. In front of the window there is a table with chairs. As I understand it, these are rooms where, due to the balcony, the area has been increased and there are three large one-and-a-half beds. Numbers 100 and 500 are the first floor. Their big minus, in my opinion, is that the aforementioned large floor-to-floor window opens directly onto the lawn, i. e. ants, beetles can get into the room, and a view of the whole room from the street. Although, some, on the contrary, liked the proximity to “nature”. Every evening they fumigate everything around - the fight against insects. We lived on the 3rd floor - there was no "living creatures". By the way, in the evening, when we were walking, there were no mosquitoes.
Nutrition.
I can not say that it is very diverse, but edible. There were chicken and beef, fish and squid. From fruits: oranges, bananas, guava, dates, peaches, melon, some berries (I forgot the name). In the morning, the same omelet and pancakes. Of the free alcohol, you can only drink beer, everything else is completely lousy, but this is not news for Egypt. Surprised that drinks are poured into disposable cups. But these are trifles. Let me tell you a secret: they make cappuccino in the lobby bar.
We went into the water, threw lemon tea, rinsed our mouths with drinking water, and everything went without poisoning.
Sea.
The reef is wonderful and varied. It is better to sail from the pontoon. From the shore, the sunset is not very good, there are a lot of hedgehogs and other marine life. Be sure to buy slippers. They sell on the spot for $15, you can buy for $12, and if there are several pairs, then for $9.
Animation.
It's a complete bummer here. Now there is a very sluggish team, if during the day volleyball-gymnastics is still nothing, then the evening show sucks. It saves that artists come twice a week (there was a national whirling dance in skirts and a fakir with fire and broken glass). A disco club has been open since the 23rd, but we didn’t go there, so I can’t tell you the level of the disco. Children's disco as always: "Chuku-chuku-chuku-chu", etc. By the time we left, one animator was changed, I hope the evening show will be better. In fact, the animation always depends on the invited team, how lucky.
Tours.
Tour operators offer Jerusalem for about $180, Petra for $210. "Street" dollars are 40 cheaper. We went to Petra, we liked it very much, we left at 9 am by ferry, we crossed the border right on the ship, then we got on the bus and returned in the evening. Put on sneakers for this excursion (sand and small stones under your feet).
People.

We didn't have any problems with staff. By the end of the holiday, the door opening card was demagnetized - at the reception they apologized and asked again in 10 seconds. On the beach, a servant always ran up and brought us mattresses, rearranged deck chairs, shields, etc.
Vacationers are mostly Russians, Ukrainians, Poles, Slovenes and other Eastern Europe. Western Europe is in the minority.
My conclusions.
The hotel is worth its money and stars. I recommend for a relaxing beach holiday for a week and for active trips on excursions, if for two, because. there is no entertainment and "hangout". We rested very well, did not spoil our nerves with minor flaws, which is what I wish everyone.
