May holidays
Travel guide to Spain.
So, our journey began with a dream...a dream to visit Spain.
After studying hundreds of pages and comments on the Internet, watching the program "Heads and Tails", they were inspired by the idea of a cheap vacation. Having finally decided on the place of stay, as well as the timing of the trip, we began to plan everything on our own. We chose the town of Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava near the cities of Girona (40 km) and Barcelona (90 km) as the place of our rest.
First, we booked plane tickets. This was done through the Ryanair website. com". Let's make a reservation right away that we live in the border area and it was beneficial for us to use this airline with a departure from Tallinn Airport. Buying tickets does not take much time and is not difficult. Tickets Tallinn-Barcelona (Girona) and Barcelona (Girona)-Tallinn cost 275 euros with all fees for two.
With the hotel, everything was much more complicated, there are a lot of offers and you need to look for it on Spanish sites, you can take a whole house with a pool for 6-8 people for 500 euros / week (though this is the price in the low season). After digging for a couple of days on Spanish sites, we still used the old and proven booking. com, opting for the Aparthotel Costa Encantada room apartments for 2-4 people for 10000r for 6 days. Having made the main orders, we began to wait for the long-awaited vacation that fell from May 4 to May 11.
Day X came, we packed our bags, got into the car and drove to the airport to meet our dream. The flight went very smoothly, I must say this is one of the safest companies in the world (the flight lasted 3 hours 30 minutes). Upon arrival, without wasting time, we proceeded to the bus stop, from which we reached Lloret de Mar for 8 euros per ticket (the journey takes 30 minutes).
The next morning we were on our way to Barcelona.
It should be noted that from Lloret de Maara there are two ways to get to Barcelona, by train from Blanes and by bus. By train on the road you will spend 1 hour 20 minutes and pay 6.95 euros, and sit on the left side to admire the beaches of the coast. By bus, your journey will take 1 hour and will cost you 10 euros.
First things first, to get to know Barcelona, take a sightseeing tour by bus. There are 3 routes in any place you can go out to look around, and then jump back into the bus and continue on. All this pleasure costs 24 euros for one day. Barcelona is a huge city with a lot of attractions and of course it won’t be enough for a day to see everything, so we returned again and again))) So to speak, a mandatory program: take a walk in the port, walk along the Rambla, look at the Boqueria market, Sagrada Familia, Park Guell , singing fountains, Camp Nou (probably mostly for guys), etc. .
Of course, do not forget to sit in local cafes and enjoy a glass of cold beer or wine.
A separate day should also be honored with a visit to the Montserrat monastery. The ticket will cost 24.50 euros, it includes a trip to the metro, train to Montserrat and climbing the cog railway, funiculars and a museum. From metro station pl. Spain to the monastery the road will take 1 hour. 30min, and then time flies imperceptibly in contemplation of all this magnificence. Yes, at the monastery there is a souvenir shop for every taste, and you can also eat if you are hungry, the average price of lunch is 25-30 euros for two (although everyone has different appetites).
Well, it is worth paying attention to the place where we lived Lloret de Maar. This is not a big coastal town, with two city beaches (although there may be more). In summer, this is quite a party place, since there are plenty of clubs here for every taste.
We were not very lucky in this regard, since we did not get into the season and the clubs we went to were either half empty or there was no one at all, so those who go before May 20 (and this is considered the beginning of the season by the Spaniards) don't fall for the caller. By the way, a ticket to the club costs from 10 to 15 euros - it usually includes a cocktail. But there are plenty of people in the bars. During the day, you can walk along the embankment, sit in a restaurant, take a walk along the rocky paths. Of course, we expected more from the weather, but alas! On average, 20-23 degrees, but a strong wind, but on the last day it was HEAT, that we even had time to swim (water temp. 15 degrees) and burn out.
Here are the average prices:
Flight-10800r (for two round trip)
Hotel-10000r (2-4 people)
Ticket from the airport - 8 euros
Train ticket to Barcelona - 6.95 euros
Bus ticket to Barcelona - 10 euros
Ticket sightseeing tour bus-24 euro
Montserrat ticket-24.50 euro
An average lunch for two is 25-30 euros (paella with seafood, shish kebab firms.
, baked squids and 3 liters of beer)
Sea restaurant for two - 40-45 euros (assorted seafood, salad, beer and sangrinha)
Disco-10-15 euro
Prices in grocery stores, as in Russia, are something more expensive, something cheaper.
