Very good, just GREAT hotel. Having already ordered and paid for the hotel, I read negative reviews about this hotel on the Internet and was a little worried about this. However, everything turned out to be just fine, everyone really liked it, so the fears were in vain. There were no nightmares described in those reviews. I must say that we were very lucky with the room - we lived on the 7th floor (by the standards of the hotel), and given the 0th floor, in general, on the 8th. The room was a corner room, i. e. the last one on the floor, and the balcony was just gigantic. Maybe the same number, in the same place. but somewhere on the floor, on the 2nd, 3rd, we would like it less or not at all, because the balcony goes directly to the Blaumar hotel, which is opposite through a narrow street, but we, on the 7th (or 8th? ) floor, the view was simply amazing - panoramic, one might say, on the sea, two hotels opposite (but our balcony did not rest against them, but was higher), the street in perspective, some kind of park or garden, in general greenery, and on a mountain in the distance with ruins on its top. And no noise (such as a disco in the Beverly park hotel or traffic noise and train calls) did not interfere with us, although people from the Blaumar hotel from the 3rd and 6th floors complained about this very disco. I personally got the impression that the hotel was inhabited mainly by Russians. This is the only hotel in the last few years and countries where there were inscriptions in Russian (names of dishes in the restaurant and a folder with information about the hotel in the room). The only thing that would not be superfluous is the presence of a refrigerator in the room. And then you can take it for extra. fee-8 euros per day. I did not really like the beach, although it is quite clean, albeit a municipal one. The sand on the beach is coarse, the size of millet groats. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are paid: 4 euros (somehow cool), but the people did not bother, they lay on towels or bedding. For example, we bought ourselves a very nice mattress. All these mats, mattresses and even umbrellas are sold in a small shop near the beach (you still go to the beach past this outlet, so you won’t pass by) I advise you to definitely visit the botanical garden of Blanes Marimurtra. There you can see the sea with rocks, interesting plants and a very calm, just peaceful atmosphere, but, dear ladies, be careful if you dare to take pictures with parrots (photos will be taken right there in an hour while you are walking in the garden. The photos are just SUPER ): a white parrot skillfully pulls earrings out of his ears. I didn’t even notice, but everything ended well: the property (gold earring) was immediately returned to me. So I’m still thinking and wondering: was it an accident, or was the bird specially trained. From the hotel to the city center (Plaza Catalunya) there is a train or bus number 7 Bus, however, much cheaper In the center of Blanes on the embankment on Mondays there is a flea market, and on the street-boulevard, parallel to the embankment, but a quarter further from the sea, inland city- fruit and vegetable market. We took the train to Barcelona to see the Sagrada Familia. We rented a car (diesel Seat-Ibiza) and went to France on our own, without an excursion. We arrived right up to Avignon, and the next day, after spending the night in France in a small but very pleasant hotel near Arles, we stopped in Carcassonne. The medieval castle there is something amazing. We were already there on an excursion 8 years ago, and this time we wandered around it ourselves, without time limits
