After reading the negative about the hotel, we expected to see some kind of "dilapidated bed bug". And were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, order and friendly staff. In general, I got the impression that all the negative reviews about Esplendid are either anti-advertising, or we were in another Esplendid and in another Blanes.
The rooms are the most ordinary, quite spacious, the plumbing works ALL, NOTHING leaks, they cleaned us and changed towels EVERY day, the bed was changed 3 times, tips were taken only once. I personally did not have enough towels: they gave 2 large and 2 small ones per room. And oddly enough, they were clean and smelled, sort of, nice. All rooms have balconies (table, 2 chairs), but you need to take a clothesline with you.
And they fed very well. The absence of pork was fully compensated by fish, seafood, chicken/turkey and beef/lamb. Pickled cucumbers and Olivier were given for lunch and dinner, every day there were fruits and delicious ice cream. The hotel itself is indeed non-alcoholic, but I have seen used substitutes for ALL alcoholic liquors and drinks. Haven't tried it, but the hotel's sangria is delicious, and my husband liked the beer. I also really enjoyed the delicious coffee at breakfast. A Russian-speaking girl Tala works in the dining room, who was always happy to help us with something.

At the reception there is also a girl who speaks our language quite well (to my great regret, I don’t remember her name). With her, we solved all issues not related to the dining room without any problems) In general, the staff is quite even smiling and everyone is always ready to help you.
The hotel has an indoor heated pool with some kind of jacuzzi, an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi and a children's pool. Moreover, outdoor pools are located on two levels, and the transition between them is designed in the form of a waterfall. Very unusual) There is also a gym, a tennis court, and a playground. The hotel is very clean, flowers bloom, palm trees grow. In general, this is the most common European treshka.
Exactly 5 minutes to the sea with a stop at the SPAR store. The sidewalks in Blanes are very narrow, but if you walk on the road, then nothing will happen to you, because. There is no car traffic as such.
