If you are a nightlife lover, the town of Loret De Mar (Costa Brava resort) is waiting for you, where my friend and I spent 12 days in early September 2006. As with any vacation, there were pros and cons.
Immediately I want to note the biggest minus in our vacation - this is the TOUR OPERATOR "Natalie Tours". I advise you to “avoid it”, otherwise all impressions of the country will be spoiled.
Guides are completely incompetent in their business, impolite, incorrect and unpunctual. Having flown from this tour operator, you will immediately be deprived of a story about the country, about excursions and will not receive an answer to your questions - what happened to us.
Here is an example of a conversation:
Guide - "It's better to go to Barcelona by train, there are beautiful landscapes"
Here's the truth for you - the landscapes are not worth it at all to travel 1.5 hours in the train, in which, if you're lucky, there will be places (besides, it's another 30 minutes to the train by bus).

Question to the guide - "Do Spanish electric trains differ from Moscow ones? "
The guide’s answer is “Judge for yourself if classical music plays in our trains... ” (well, we were seduced, we think we will listen to the classics)
And what do you think we heard?? ? - local residents entered the car (as in Moscow) and played classical music on musical instruments for about 5 minutes))
So what do you think?
This is how we were well informed by the hotel guide - by the way, her name is SVETA. About discos, wines, etc. we didn’t even ask, we had enough electric trains.
Well, okay, you can close your eyes to all this, but what happened to us on the last day of rest (before the flight), I think, will be remembered for a long time.
Firstly, Sveta did not warn us about the flight change, it was rescheduled from 18.40 to 23.30. Because of what we spent eight hours at the airport (where there was a terrible duty free !!!!! - I couldn’t even buy tequila ((() All cafes are closed (after all, in Spain there is an eternal siesta! )
And secondly, the transfer was carried out by a guide - SELENA! (bus No. 25.09/16/2006) She turned out to be a terrible boorish and incompetent worker (such employees should not be allowed to work with people!!! ). She could not properly explain to us that our flight was postponed and the bus would come for us later..... we only heard screams at us - “You will not ride on this bus, you are not on the list! These are not my problems, what list are you on!!! ” We got on the bus, and we were "Get out, I'll call the police!!! " We tried to calmly talk to her and asked her to find out when we were leaving. But this Selena did not want to know anything, she only repeated - “You are not on the list! Get off the bus! "
Halfway to the airport, she again began to repeat to us - "Get off the bus, your flight is at 23.30, not to mention what will happen to us next if we get off now and find ourselves in an unknown city. " Please note - all this was said very rudely....to the questions of my girlfriend, they heard the answer - “be quiet, woman! ”.

So - because of these two guides, we were disappointed in the large tour operator "Natalie Tours", which we remember as an incompetent organization that does not know how to talk with customers at all and does not want to help tourists in problems that have arisen (if a lot of tourists start calling the guides with questions , then they just turn off their phones....- It's true !!!! )
Another point in the work of this tour operator is that they never wait on excursions, not counting the number of people, they leave !! ! - we know what it's like to run after a departing bus.
If you do not want to experience everything that was with us - choose another tour operator!!!
The biggest disadvantage I briefly outlined to you....
There was also a negative point - the weather (but this does not depend on anyone - nature does not have bad weather! ) It rained for 3-4 days, and it stopped only at night. It was not a pleasant moment in the rest. On sunny days it was 22-25 degrees, the climate is not bad, we got a tan, the sea is clean, but I can’t say that it’s very warm (the main thing is to go in, and then you don’t want to get out), the city beach was clean (though sometimes there were cigarette butts). Umbrellas and sun loungers cost 4.5 euros each, but we did not feel the need for them.
The advantage of our vacation was the location of the hotel - "FESTA BRAVA 3 *". There was a bus terminal nearby (from where buses departed to different points of the resort), five minutes away was the main street (where large disco clubs are located), and on the other side of our hotel there was a Hollywood disco (a popular disco, but there are an awful lot of people , because of which we could not stay there for a long time).
The sea is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel (past various cafes, restaurants and shops).
"FESTA BRAVA 3 *" is a good and inexpensive hotel. Quite cute and cozy. The room has two beds, a wardrobe (with hangers), a safe, a TV, a bathroom, air conditioning, a balcony (though without a table, which upset us a little).
The room was cleaned daily (but I can say that it is not clean), towels were also changed every day, bed linen once a week.
Before the trip, we read reviews about the theft in the hotel, thank God it passed us, everything is intact, though the suitcase was always locked.

They fed well. We had HB meals, but I can say that you can safely take only breakfasts, since there are a lot of bars and restaurants in the town where you can eat inexpensively and tasty.
I want to note - at the hotel you can transfer dinner to lunch (only you need to warn in advance), which is much better !!!
As for excursions, we were at a jousting tournament (a very interesting and satisfying excursion, so don’t eat a lot before it), at a bullfight + fountains (the experiences received at the bullfight will pass by looking at the beautiful fountains of Barcelona).
We visited PortAventura. It is worth a trip for all even the most cowardly travelers, as everyone will find a suitable attraction for themselves. I advise you to visit!!!
We went karting, a good track, cars, but it's better to go with a group, it will be more interesting.
This is how our 12 days flew by.
To conclude, Spain is an interesting and inexpensive country for recreation. Everyone here can find what he likes. (sea, nightlife, excursions, etc. )
The main thing is that you have responsive and attentive guides who will never say the phrase - "These are your problems! ", So do not trust your tour operator Natalie Tours!! !
