"+" The pluses include the location of the hotel relative to the beach: a few turns along the streets at a leisurely pace and in 5-7 minutes you are on the seashore. Normal food. Not the most varied menu, but everything within the Mediterranean standards (seafood, meat, desserts, etc. ): the gastronomic preferences of various categories of tourists are satisfied: adult children, vegetarian meat-eaters... Everything is fresh, tasty. There is a new supermarket next to the hotel - convenient. This is where the positives of the hotel end.
"-" There are more minuses. You feel the first of them as soon as you get off the bus-transfer at about one in the morning and “plunge” into the vibrant nightlife. If you are not a fan of noisy parties, do not aim to dance and drink in clubs until the morning, but rather appreciate a relaxing holiday with a book under a palm tree, Lloret de Mar is not the resort for you. When reading comments about the noise and increased activity of the town, do not think, like me, that capricious commentators are exaggerating—the place is indeed very hectic. During the seven days of rest, I got the impression that I was in a beehive and all this time I was rehearsing an ensemble of percussion instruments. Good infrastructure, but jamon and cheeses are the same in a small shop and in a supermarket, and without KFC chains, Burger King, Dominos and the like, you will not be lost during your vacation.
Arriving at the hotel at one o'clock in the morning, of course, missed dinner. We did not count on him, the snack was in store. Naive, I thought that on the day of departure, the missed dinner would be reimbursed for us with dinner or lunch, but no, it was necessary to have dinner at that very moment. On the tables for us and other latecomers were plates wrapped in cling film with the following contents: withered lettuce, pieces of tomato and cucumber, two slices of boiled sausage and three FISH STICKS. Where they got them from remains a mystery—the next seven days this “delicacy” was not on the menu. Showed a refrigerator with the remnants of desserts and fruits, cookies. Having calculated the amount of time that the products spent under the film in hot weather, we did not dare to eat the treat. My daughter drank boiled water, I ate two kiwis, my husband took a bite of a fish stick for fun - that's it, you can say dinner was stolen.

Number. I had to see an insufficient number of hooks in the bathroom. But that they were not AT ALL—for the first time. You go in to take a shower and hang your shorts/t-shirt/robe on the doorknob—because there's nowhere else to go. One bar for all towels: for the face / hands (for some reason, two for three people, it's good that they had their own spare ones), bath towels - everything is mixed, because there is not enough space. The shelf, which would look more logical under the mirror near the washbasin, is located above the toilet. The holder for the hand shower is located very high: even standing in the bathroom itself with a height of 1.63 m, I got up on my toes; standing on the floor, did not reach. The toilet paper holder is positioned so that each use becomes a workout to develop shoulder flexibility.
The closet in the room is not spacious enough for two people, and even more so for three. In our room, the mirror was removed from both natural and artificial light, and even occasional makeup was problematic. There is no refrigerator in the room, there is no table on the balcony—inconvenient. I was always surprised by the negative reviews about the audibility in hotels in general and Spanish in particular: yes, the soundproofing is not ideal, but tolerable. Here I felt the imperfection of sound insulation to the fullest. For example, plumbing and sewerage: there was a feeling that all the pipes pass in our room in the wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. The balcony overlooked the yard to the pool and the bar—the noise did not stop from morning until midnight. When the children and restless vacationers calmed down, garbage trucks came out onto the route, ringing merrily. After a while, dashing racing drivers swept by with a whistle. And this sound parade was completed by about 4 am by young people returning from nightclubs and talking loudly. I sleep soundly, but even for my sleep it was too much.
Wifi in the hotel is slow. Saved by mobile Internet. A couple of times, sitting on the balcony connected to the Wi-Fi of a nearby hotel.
Room cleaning is normal, but I would say forced: whether you like it or not, we will do you well. As soon as you leave the room in the morning, the maid immediately enters. I don't mind washing floors, but I don't like it when my things are touched. On the first day, returning from breakfast, they found the beds made like in the army, and the pajamas and tunic left on the beds were thrown into open suitcases nearby. The maids do not speak English, there are no “Do Not Disturb” signs. With the help of a google translator, they asked to clean it every other day and made a sign in Spanish. ))

An interesting system of passes to the hotel restaurant. During breakfast, the number card is not checked at all. But at dinner, not only the card is checked, but the head waiter controls the number of guests in the hall, blocking the entrance with a rope on the racks. It seems that there are free tables, and the entrance is periodically blocked, thereby forming a queue (sometimes long) of those who came to have dinner.
The fact that tour operators with their charter flight schedules have a special place in hell is not news, but a separate conversation. I would like the hotel, in which the check-out time is 10 am, to create minimal comfort for those waiting for 5-7 hours for a transfer to the airport. There are no changing rooms or showers for evicted guests. The luggage room is small and narrow. We went to the beach, changed clothes in the toilet in the hotel lobby, which is extremely inconvenient, given that in the public toilet on hooks and shelves they saved money as well as in the rooms.
