Olive hotel! I advise everyone! In Salou, all hotels are 3 stars, in my opinion there are 1 or 2 4 star hotels, the only difference between 3 * and 4 * is the presence of a lock in the toilet. I didn’t find any more differences, visiting a new friend who just lived in 4 *. =)
The rooms are clean, cleaned every day, nothing is missing from the rooms, even the money left on the bedside table. Towels are also changed every day. The room has air conditioning, TV, balcony overlooking either the pools or the street. The food is delicious, a buffet, for 12 days of stay they did not try all the food, a lot, really.
There are 2 pools on the territory of the hotel: a small one for children and a little more for the rest. From entertainment: Animation in the evenings, during the day you can play darts and ping-pong. But it’s boring on the territory, you don’t go on vacation in order to hang around in the hotel! =)

It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach, there is a small quiet beach, there are few people, the water is clean, the sand too. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to a large beach, but there is nowhere to step during the day, everything is busy.
As for the beaches, I also want to say that in Spain they really monitor the cleanliness of the beaches, i. e. in the evening, sand is sifted there by a special machine. In the water you will not find any algae, no fish, no jellyfish, nothing at all, perfect water! Apparently there are nets somewhere in the sea that do not let anything through to the beach.
In the evening there are places to go... many clubs, bars, take a walk along the promenade, it's more than a kilometer long.
In the afternoon for the whole day you can go to Port Aventura, the largest amusement park in Europe, in second place after Disneyland Paris. It is only a couple of kilometers from Salou, buses go there.
You can also go to Barcelona by train.
From excursions, I advise you to go to the Dali Museum and to a survey in Barcelona.
By choosing this hotel you will not regret your stay! =)
