We rested in Spain for 14 days on a fortune ticket. We were sent to the Metropol Hotel. Frankly speaking, when they saw where they settled us, they were horrified out of habit. Getting used to 4 stars in other countries, we thought it was a joke. Or, for example, in Thailand 3 stars - a room of 45 sq. m. for two, a huge balcony, free safe, refrigerator, hair dryer, excellent air conditioning, cleaning every day, etc. There is no refrigerator, hair dryer, poorly working air conditioner, a paid safe 4 euros a day, a very small room, all night you can hear European youth walking on the street until 6 in the morning. More than half of the rooms without a balcony, Russians are not given a balcony, we have to negotiate. In the restaurant, drinks are paid, Coca-Cola 0.33 - 2.5 euros, and in the store 2 liters - 1.80 euros. The food is really very varied, a lot of fruits, there is a choice, but not always well cooked, sometimes undersalted, undercooked, tough. But over time, they adapted and began to find advantages: the view from the terrace is magnificent, the sea is a two-minute walk away, cleaning every day. But if I were now offered to go to this hotel for free, I would never agree.
