By chance, we ended up in mid-October on the Spanish coast of the Costa Dorada. The end of the season, many hotels were already closed, but we were hospitably sheltered by "Best Da Vinchi royal" 4 *, which is located 100 km. south of Barcelona in Salou. During my last introductory visit to Spain, I noted the Best hotel chain for myself as hotels with a good level of service, excellent food and decent condition of the room stock. And now the next representative of "Best" did not let me down.
The location of the hotel is very good: in the city center, 5 minutes from the city beach and the pedestrian shopping street, 15 minutes from the Mercadona supermarket and 15-20 minutes from the Port Aventura amusement park.
We took two meals a day (HB): breakfast and dinner, but if desired, dinner could be changed for lunch. With all the same desire, you could buy additional meals at the hotel for 16 euros per person. I will not list the set of products, but everything is very tasty. There were blue cheeses and jamon, bacon and fuet, mussels and shrimp… Well, champagne for breakfast)). At the same time, I note that for dinner all drinks (including water) for an additional fee. A bottle of wine, for example, starts at 9.5 euros.

The rooms are in good condition: the furniture is quite new, the plumbing is working, the mini-bar was filled once upon arrival with soft drinks, there is a kettle and a microwave, as well as a free safe.
The hotel area is compact, which is typical for many urban hotels in Spain. It consists of two separate 6-storey buildings, interconnected by a passage. Between the buildings there is an outdoor swimming pool with a children's section. At the end of the second building there is a playground for the smallest tourists.
We did not see animators at the end of the season, but in the evenings there is live music in the lobby and you can even dance to those who like "ZaZO")).
Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel, including in the rooms. Somewhere better, somewhere worse, but quite sufficient for calls and social networks. Didn't watch the movies - didn't have time).
In general, I recommend the hotel. Rest satisfied!
