We rested for 2 weeks in July 2010. The location of the hotel is really good. All rooms are the same with a side sea view, small. There were no complaints about the room, everything worked. Noise isolation is not very good, but you need to behave correctly, do not forget about the neighbors. They took for an additional fee a safe (in a room with a code) 3 euros per day, a refrigerator also 3 euros per day (but always cold beer, sangria, actimel for a child). Across the road is a Michelangelo supermarket with normal prices (water 1.5 l - 0.4-0.8 e; sangria 1 l -1.19 e, 1.5 l - 1.38 e, etc. ). Cleaning depends on the shift, but Everything suited me, except for 1 case. When changing clothes, they took my favorite nightgown from me. The search turned up nothing.
We had full board. The food is excellent, varied; full of fruits. For lunch and dinner, water -1.3 e for 0.5; dry wine - from 8 e, you can not drink it up, but put it in the refrigerator there (they will attach a tag with the room number). There were no queues for the restaurant.
The sea is clean, transparent, warm. The sand is really golden. By the sea, a deck chair and an awning (4 + 5 e). Rarely does anyone take it. Sunbathing on the sun loungers by the pool. There were enough sun loungers for everyone, there were no problems (apparently they bought new ones). Umbrellas were handed out, by the time they were opened, a line was running behind them, but they were quickly handed out to everyone.

My son is 12 years old, so we do not need daytime animation, they were not interested. But there was water aerobics in the pool, people were invited to some games. In the evening there were different performances. If something interesting (circus, fakirs), then they watched. If the fairy tale is in Spanish, then we went for a walk in Salou (10 minutes before the start of the pedestrian alley with fountains). Bus stop at the entrance to the hotel, we went to Reus (buses every half an hour N47) - there is the center of Gaudi and shopping (who loves it), to Tarragona (an old town), Port Aventura park (very interesting attractions, but you have to be prepared for long queues) , Barcelona, catamaran ride from Cambrils to Tarragona, took an excursion - Montserrat. There was no time to sit in the hotel, all the days were scheduled. The attitude is friendly everywhere. Rest was a success.
With us rested people who come to this hotel already 3 times (several different families).
P. S. They really steal in Barcelona. We are sitting in a cafe, a decent-looking man comes in, sits down at a table and lays out about 15 purses, guts them. He throws some away, hides the money, and the bartender watches and doesn’t say a word to him, doesn’t call anywhere. We were shocked. Be careful!
And yet, the Spaniards do everything slowly. You have to deal with it and not be nervous. The flight from Barcelona was delayed for 6 hours, of which we sat on the plane for 4 hours. They thought what to do with us.
