We have just returned from Spain, where we had a good rest and spent an hour.

The Best Sol D’or is located in the beautiful town of La Pineda (about an hour and a half drive from Barcelona). The hotel is quite green. There is a territory (courtyard) with a swimming pool and a bar. They did not use the pool because they enjoyed the sea. Rooms are not large, with air conditioning and balconies. Safe in the room, but at an additional cost. Free in-room Wi-Fi is also available. Rooms were cleaned daily, there were no comments on the quality of cleaning.

The voucher included 2 meals a day (breakfast and dinner). I can't say that the choice of food was very large, but there are no comments on the quality. Breakfast is fairly standard, and the daily dinners had their own theme and relevant dishes (evening of Moroccan cuisine, evening of Catalan cuisine, etc. ). Lots of fruits and berries (delicious pineapples, watermelons, melons ... ).

There were also parties with seafood (freshly cooked shrimp and mussels lay in the mountains). As for the 3-star hotel, the food was very pleasant. The only downside is the queues at the restaurant and dishes (it seemed that it was poorly washed).

The hotel is about 3-5 minutes walk from the sea. The beach is municipal, sunbeds are paid (5 euros and + free bottle of water or beer of your choice). There are not many sunbeds, so most vacationers use beach towels and bedding. We bought a beach straw litter, which turned out to be of poor quality and quickly broke ...it was left there). The beach is clean, sandy, wide. The sea is simply beautiful with clear water in which the sand sparkles with gold (Costa Dorada in translation Gold Coast).

We also visited the Port Aventura theme park and the water park in La Pineda (10 minutes walk from the hotel) ...a lot of fun for both adults and children.
