Pretty good hotel in the village of La Pineda. It is categorically not suitable for a beach "seal" holiday, but as a place where you return to spend the night after a trip around the country - probably.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The hotel consists of three buildings. I saw numbers one and three. The third one looks better to me. Newer furniture, quieter, calmer. The first one is mostly inhabited by foreigners. And these guys, when there are a lot of them, make more noise than ours. In addition, foreigners, for the most part, prefer sunbathing near the pool to relaxing on the beach. Therefore, the rooms on this side are quite noisy.
I lived in the third building, in a room with access to the road and the golf course. The room is small but cozy.
The double bed consists of two single beds pushed together.
Towels and sheets are changed daily in the room. Renewal of stocks of shower gel and soap according to the mood of the cleaner.

There is no minibar, as well as a kettle with coffee/tea making facilities.
There is a refrigerator. In previous reviews I saw that they paid for it. It's probably already cancelled. To date, the use of the refrigerator is free.
There is a safe. Here it is paid, the cost for using it is 2 euros per day. You can pay immediately, or at the end of the holiday.
You can pass the time in your room watching four TV channels in Russian, or, if you are a polyglot, a couple of hundred foreign ones.
FOOD:
To begin with, it must be said that the hotel offers two types of meals - all inclusive and breakfast-dinner. We took all inclusive, and I think I was not mistaken. Food in nearby cafes seemed expensive to me. In addition, if you do not have an all-inclusive bracelet on your arm, you will be charged for all meals outside of breakfast and dinner, as well as for drinks throughout the day. For example, a glass of water at lunch can easily cost 1.5 euros.
Hotel breakfasts do not please with variety. Every day the same thing. For lunch and dinner, the eye will be pleased with the abundance of different dishes. BUT, at the same time, I would like to note that in my humble opinion, most of the dishes are not tasty. At the same time, I’m not a major, I don’t eat in expensive restaurants, I rested in Egypt, Turkey and the Crimea. But, it’s not so tasty for 14 days I haven’t eaten yet. Only a few types of salad, soups and all poultry dishes are successful. Pork, beef, pizza are not tasty. That is, everything is fresh, looks good and smells good, but tastes. . .
For breakfast, lunch and dinner you will be treated to fruits. At the same time, except for melon and pears, it is impossible to eat everything else. Bananas are tasteless, apples look like plastic, peaches taste like cucumber. Although, again, there were people who disagreed with me, therefore this opinion is very, very subjective.

In principle, I did not like the food not only in the hotel, but also in those places where we still ate, including Barcelona. One cafe only pleased, in the area of the Barcelona Zoo, but only Arabs and a Chinese boy worked there.
But, I will say in fairness, very tasty milk and everything that is made from it. Especially yogurt and ice cream. And I really liked the local beer "Estrella", while the mineral water gives off mud and has a bad aftertaste.
BATHING, ENTERTAINMENT
The beach is close to the hotel. It is wonderful, wide, with fine white sand.
Sun loungers and their installation under a canopy are paid. I won’t tell you the price, because on the first day we bought a beach umbrella and a bedding right there (all for 10 euros), which we used for free until the end of the holiday.
We weren't very lucky with the weather. In recent days, the sea was stormy, it was raining and it got significantly colder. But the water was still warm. Therefore, they were satisfied.
I can't really say anything about entertainment on the beach. The season was drawing to a close. Catamarans were seen on the shore, in the first days after arrival, the locals dismantled some houses with a slide. But the weather was not conducive to taking advantage of anything.
Every day there is a disco in the local club. Plus, there is a disco in the town of Salou, from where they will pick you up free of charge by minibus, and take you back at any convenient time.
EXCURSIONS:
Excursions from guides did not buy. Everything seemed too expensive. Instead, we rented a car (a Renault minivan with mileage of 3000 km for 280 euros for three full days with maximum insurance and 0% deductible) and looked at everything that is offered on our own.
Although the excursion program is everyone’s business and I don’t want to advise anything (all the information is already on the Internet), I am convinced that being in those parts and not seeing Barcelona (120 km. ) Means throwing away all the money spent.

The city is just crazy beautiful. The ancient narrow streets, the magic fountain, the stunning architecture of Gaudi and the festive atmosphere on the main street of Ramla and in the area of the city port will not leave anyone indifferent.
