I stayed at this hotel from 09/22/13 to 09/30/13. This is not the first time in European hotels, so there is something to compare with. The hotel is a good trio. Lived in the first building on the 4th floor, a room for one was provided with a standard "single" place was enough. Cleaned daily, towels changed regularly. In addition to soap, there is nothing else in the bathroom. If the towel gets dirty, throw it on the floor and it will be replaced immediately.
Safe is paid + you still need to immediately leave a deposit of 50 euros, a hair dryer will also be given after making a deposit. Svetlana works at the reception, she is the only one who speaks Russian. You can also ask her for maps to all the towns located nearby. Breakfasts are standard "European", champagne in the mornings. Lunches and dinners are varied. No need to compare food in European hotels with hotels in Turkey and Egypt, especially do not forget this 3-ka. But everything is delicious. The only thing that I didn’t like was the fish, I tried it several times not fried, not boiled. Fruits, ice cream, pastries. Excellent soups (once there was BORSCH!!!! ))))) . Drinks for lunch and dinner are paid, I was surprised by the price of a glass of sangria 2.60 ! ! If you have an excursion and you do not have time for breakfast, you can take a "picnic" ordered at the reception. If you don't have time for dinner, you can change it for lunch any day.
There are no complaints about the territory, the presence of sun loungers by the pool (although I myself didn’t lie there, I saw free ones), there are 3 bars in the hotel, everything is on the level. I didn’t go to the animation myself, but many spoke well of it.

It's about 5-7 minutes to the beach, but uphill, and then down the stairs to the sea itself. This is the closest beach and there were fewer people on it, on the other 2 go a little further. Once I went to those two beaches a lot of people, I didn’t go there anymore.
The town itself is very pleasant, an excellent promenade running along the sea, a large number of fountains, one of them is a musical miniature copy of the fountain in Barcelona (during the off season, the show is only Friday, Saturday, Sunday, from 21 to 21.20)
Shopping........ in my opinion is absent, both in Salou itself and in Tarragona and Reus, although there is still an opportunity to please yourself with something))))
The prices for excursions from the tour operator are not justified, as usual, they are too high. For this reason, I went on excursions from Plana, excursions are conducted by guides who speak Russian well (many are just Russian). The buses are all comfortable, everyone has the same program, it makes no sense to overpay.
Card for trips T-10 (for 10 trips), but in offices (not in booths) you can also ask for a card for 2.3 and t trips. It costs 14.5 for 10, it can be replenished and it is not necessary to buy several, you can pay one for several people. The card is not thrown away, but handed over and received 3.5 back. Paying in cash is not profitable (travel to Taragona in cash -2.8, by card -1.4)
The sea is shallow, so that it is up to the neck with a height of 1.60 from the shore, you need to move 50-70 meters away. The water was wonderful 25-26 degrees, in recent days there was not much excitement, which only added positive to swimming.
For calls to Russia, I bought a Libar SIM card for 7 euros, I talked to the house for 40 minutes.
