In July 2007, I was vacationing with a friend at the Oasis Park Hotel in Salou. In Spain, we were with her for the first time, so - only impressions without any comparisons. The hotel itself is not bad - although we did not make any special demands. The room had air conditioning, which did not work - well, we could do without it. The rest of the room is cozy: two beds, a sofa, bedside tables, a TV (the remote control is taken on bail at the reception), linen was changed once a week, towels seem to be once every 2 days . .
The staff is attentive - everyone understands and can explain themselves in English (contrary to the opinions of some of our Russian comrades, who reprimanded the guide that "these don't understand anything in my English" - learn the language, comrades) and some in Russian quite....to the pool got out only once, somehow the sea is still more interesting . . )) from the minuses - the kitchen. Very monotonous and quickly boring . . breakfast is absolutely always the same, for lunch too. Plus, vegetables, for example, were often sour for dinner . . dinners were sometimes surprising with a change of one or two dishes. Catering was lame - once it happened that we didn’t even wait to order drinks - no one came up to the table.
Reception staff - thank you from the bottom of my heart. All very nice and friendly. At the reception, for example, they gave us an adapter when our plug did not fit the outlet, they gave us maps of nearby cities for free and generally advised us what was where. And, here's another thing, it's very important - if you are not a party-goer who still does not plan to appear in the room at first, then DO NOT STAY in a room overlooking the street - you will not sleep . . the bars under the window work all night and it is absolutely impossible to fall asleep - everyone neighs, they go singing - it feels like all this bedlam is right next to the bed. It is better to immediately talk to the administration or change the number on occasion.
