Салоу - рай на земле Salou - heaven on earth

We had a family vacation - two adults and two children 9 and 15 years old in this hotel at the end of August 2010. Upon arrival, they tried to give us a cramped room (they paid for my family room), referring to the fact that all the rooms were occupied. Of course, as is often the case in Turkey, we did not have to raise our voice, but to resolve the issue we had to call the “boss”, he did not dispute our proposal to accommodate us in two rooms, in general, there is no reason to be offended by them. The next day, these two rooms were changed to a family room. The restaurant is good, the assortment offered is varied, constantly meat, poultry, fish, shrimp, mussels. In the evening, after the mini disco for kids, there is a show program every day. There are two small pools - one for adults 2.5 m deep, the other for small fry. Cleaned and changed towels every day. There is a sports bar with a big screen. In general, I think that for a C grade hotel it is quite acceptable. We mainly went to the beach in the direction of La Pineda, it is called La Llamra in my opinion, since it is less crowded than the beach of Salou itself and much cleaner than the beach below the hotel. Were on excursions to Port Aventura, Barcelona and Tarragona. By the way, the shopping turned out to be memorable, we got just in the season of discounts, spent everything that was with us and a credit card. In general, we really liked Salou, especially the magnificent sea with golden sand, we will be happy to return there again.
