Santa Ponsa. Holiday secrets

The azure expanse of the morning sea: white yachts and boats in the distance. And a horizon stretching to infinity. Calm and gentle, the sea envelops with its coolness. So you want to swim and swim forward, staying in this wonderful moment of peace and absolute happiness!
But the shore is calling back. Santa Ponsa is just waking up - a long and hectic day ahead, with a beach filled with vacationers, shops and bars - these are integral attributes of the resort area. I return from heaven to earth, through a pine grove with noisy bright green parrots (oh, exotic) to our hotel Pionero Santa Ponsa, which I will tell you honestly and frankly, without embellishment.
Those who are not the first time resting in Spain are not surprised by the dirty streets of coastal areas. Mallorca is no exception. In the morning, deserted sidewalks flooded with dried beer are especially striking, a little garbage here and there, and the smell of unwashed pavement hits the nose - in general, we are moving towards the Pionero hotel, which is located in the depths, 300 meters from the beginning of the beach.

I must say right away that half of all vacationers here were unlucky with rooms. We were horrified when we received the keys and entered the room with a ridiculously huge fan on the ceiling, replacing the air conditioner. When we opened the balcony door, we froze for a second in surprise: the air was filled with a rather loud monotonous sound of the fan (apparently, this is the hood of the entire hotel). Opposite - the windows of another hotel, the guests of which also "enjoyed" this rumble, below - the roof of the restaurant. Then we found out that another third of the rooms face the hotel's courtyard, which is filled with garbage boxes that give off a certain smell, trucks pulling up to unload food and everything.
The rest of the lucky ones (less than half of them) got rooms with access to a rather quiet street, where at least trees were planted and flower beds were laid out. Friends, ask for these numbers if you already happened to get into Pionero! We only managed to change the room to another, similar, but located a little to the left of the main noisy fan, it was a little quieter, and there was no smell of exhaust air, but the hum was all the time, not for all two weeks, day and night. This sound does not interfere with sleep, but sitting under it on the balcony with a glass of sangria, alas, is not fun.
The hotel has practically no territory, sunbeds by the pool early in the morning are occupied by foreigners. Otherwise, everything is not bad, a solid three-ruble note. The food is decent, there are show programs, children's animation in the evenings. After 11 pm everything falls asleep, life calms down until the morning. The corridors are also quite quiet, we never heard drunken screams or noisy companies at night, only conversations of neighbors passing by the room. The main contingent of vacationers here are families with children, middle-aged people, few young people.
The sea in Santa Ponsa is warmer than anywhere else, it's true: the town is located in the bay, and the water warms up here. At the end of June, the water was 25 degrees, the air was up to 35, it was very hot during the day. The sand is clean, they clean it, we must pay tribute, not bad. Mallorca is magical if you drive around it in a rented car - the roads are gorgeous, there is something to see. Happy holidays everyone!! !
