My husband and I flew on a honeymoon trip to about. Mallorca in Spain from 25.07 to 01.08. 10g.
through the agency Travel Club "5th Season".
The holiday was organized amazingly.
First, we had no problems with the visa. In addition, Spain gave us a multi-Schengen until the end of the year, which made us incredibly happy. And our documents came out even earlier than we expected.
Secondly, the hotel we chose confirmed the Junior Suite, which was not sold on the Russian market, which required efforts on the part of our agent.
Thirdly, we flew on a wonderful semi-free Aeroflot-Nordavia plane and we had an individual transfer booked to the hotel and back.
For the first time in a very long time of various travels, we really had no problems with the trip.

And now about Spain:
Mallorca is a small island with a population of only 600 tons. people, three hundred of whom live in the capital Palma. i. e.

population density, to put it mildly, "no". Spaniards are incredibly lazy people, they start working late and finish early. Siesta for half a day. Service in cafes and restaurants is slow, dissatisfied, sometimes impudent. This applies to the hotel as well. We were holidaying in Sol Antillas Barbados in the Magaluf area and we had the All Inclusive meal plan. At first we thought that we were served so extremely reluctantly due to the fact that we do not pay money, but hold out a card with a VIP stamp, but it turned out not to be so. In those evenings when extra. service for the money - it remained the same leisurely and half-dissatisfied.
And this is probably the only minus of the Spanish country.
The district of Magaluf, on the contrary, is incredibly active. This is a party city, where shops are open from morning until late without siesta, and some even at night, with an endless number of restaurants, bars and discos. It will not be boring.
There is nothing like it in any other part of the island.
Restaurants close at 9 pm, even in the very center. True, I do not presume to argue for Palma, we were not there late in the evening.
The main tourists of Magaluf are the British. And Mallorca, probably, too.
The beach is almost everywhere - soft sand. We have been to many bays of the island.
The exception is, for example, the port of Valldemosa. There is incredible beauty, but nowhere to swim.
I consider it very important to rent a car. Keep in mind that in Mallorca cars "automatic" are not welcome and they are almost impossible to find. It is better to determine in advance which days you want to drive around the island - and reserve a car. Despite the huge number of RENT A CAR, it is difficult to find a car on the same day, or even the day before. Parking is paid almost everywhere, it is impossible to park along any yellow line (solid, broken, dotted, etc. ). The fine for not wearing a seat belt is 300 euros. For breaking the speed like too big.
In the village, the limit is 50 km / h, on the highway - 120 km / h. There are almost no traffic lights, the adjustment on the road is due to the movement in a circle. The one who enters the circle always yields.
I definitely advise you to visit Cape Formentor - in the north of the island. This is incredible beauty. But do not forget that after 9 pm in the main areas of Mallorca you will not be able to eat. Gasoline is expensive - about 2 euros.
Try to take diesel cars, there are a lot of them. Cars, of course, are mostly runabouts and small. The cost is from 45 euros per day and above.
They almost always ask you to leave a deposit, or give a credit card number.

One of the main shows in Mallorca is the Pirate Show, which takes place just in Magaluf. Incredibly beautiful show, highly recommend a visit. Depending on the season and the place in the hall, it costs from 55 to 66 euros (I can be a bit wrong). This includes dinner, drinks and the show itself.
They say that the Knight's Tournament is not interesting here, so we didn't go. Also in Magaluf is one of the best and most popular discos of the island. But we didn't go to it. Although, maybe in vain.
The duty free at Mallorca airport is small, the choice is poor. The release at customs is processed quite simply - just before entering the plane, customs officers put a stamp on the passport without looking. And all while Spain.
Very beautiful island, with very good beaches and nature. I recommend everyone to visit and certainly use the services of the Travel Club.
On my own behalf, I express my deep gratitude to Olga Sokolov for organizing the trip of the General Director. Everything was top notch!
