Mallorca and Magaluff
Rested in July 2008 in Sol Guadalupe with a friend. Since we are young girls, we needed a place to party. This hotel is located in the resort area of Magaluff. Pretty fun place, where one English youth. The first impression was made by the reception and the hotel lobby, quite large and spacious. In the room, I would say, very good fresh furniture, a huge mirror cabinet impressed me the most, mirrors from ceiling to floor))), I really liked it! The hotel is located in such a way that there are practically no rooms with a sea view, we got a room with a view of a neighboring hotel, and others with a view of the pool and the road, if you want to see pieces of the sea, then you should choose a floor above 5. But we did not change room, because we had very funny neighbors))). Before we had time to unpack things, they knocked on us, opened the door, and saw young people. As it turned out, the guys from the neighboring hotel saw us dancing on the balcony (we were glad that we had finally arrived), thought we were having a party and came! For the whole holiday, we have not seen enough of anything, watching how the British have fun! They also say Russians drink! How the English youth gorge themselves, ours did not even dream of!
The resort is quite fun, noisy, but I don't like the English public and their holiday! You can look at it, of course, fun, but no more!
We visited the VSM club! Entrance 40 euro ticket and drinks included, ie. drink as much as you like, plus they gave us a T-shirt and a hat for free! Russian girls, as always, discounts, we went together for 40! The club is impressive in size, Eric Morillo played that day, the music is awesome, there are a lot of people. I used to read in reviews that it smells like burdock, which is true, it's true! It feels like the whole club was saturated with this smell)))! Then we drank decent cocktails, they are very weak, and, in general, alcoholic drinks are very weak there, even a clean martini after 4 glasses did not take! I didn't like the fact that everyone throws glasses and bottles on the dance floor, so you can easily slip and fall on the glass, which happened to one girl who broke her neck after falling on the dance floor. dancing in a crowd is certainly more fun, but there is another feature when they let off steam, then several pairs of hands pinch your ass. We then began to dance near the bar, it was less dangerous))). The club offers cocaine without any problems, treat yourself. All in all, a fun place!
Insanely beautiful, clean, unusual color, something between light green and bright bright blue, the sea! The sand is fine, golden-white in color. There are many cafes along the sea, where we had lunch, enjoying the beautiful views. Our favorite place was Puerto Rico, where good service, delicious food and a cheerful trained parrot.
After hanging out for 2 days in Magaluff, we were tired of these Englishmen, it was no longer possible to look at this madhouse! Therefore, every evening we went to Palma!
Palm is another matter! It seemed to me that there are fewer English people there, and they behave quite differently.
A long embankment, near the port, there are few walkers or walking pensioners on it. The main gathering of young people along the disco street is if you cross the road from the port. There are cafes, walking people, animators luring you to clubs. The most interesting club is Titos! I don’t remember how much the entrance is there, since we only paid once, later we met Victor, he is Spaniard, he distributes flyers near the club, we talked something with him, he knows a little Russian, but we spoke English, he took us to the club while serving cocktails. I really liked Titos, awesome show, the contingent is mostly Spaniards. We also met many Turks and Italians there. I like these hot Spaniards so much, they have such passion! And how they dance! Fascinating! In subsequent times, the entire administrative staff already knew us, very good boys work there, constantly bought us something from a drink, during the party they came up and asked if everything was in order.
Were in all other clubs, except Level, but you need to go there when there is a theme party or someone arrives! Other clubs did not impress us at all, small, stuffy, smoky. We also got into these clubs, after a little haggling with the flyers handing out))), since I understand Spanish, it was funny to hear the conversation "let these girls go for free, because they are Russian. " However, after 10 minutes of being in the club, we realized that this is not our place, there were only youngsters, 17 years old. The club was called Victoria! The music there is also not very good, pop or RNB.
There were many adventures in Palma. I do not recommend taking a sightseeing tour of the city. Palma is not a very big city, you can go around all the historical places yourself. Can't say I'm thrilled! Yes, there is a real king's castle, yes, it's beautiful. But besides this castle, in fact, I did not see anything impressive. I advise you to make a tour of the island, swimming in the coves, to see the beauty of the island.
I managed to visit Cala Rajada (Cala Rojada), this is a resort on the opposite side of the island, if you look from Palma, there are very beautiful views, rocky cliffs, coniferous forests! Great!
This tour was taken from the Capital Tour. Our guide Yulia was seen only a couple of times in 15 days.
Most importantly, be sure to visit Ibiza! We took a 3 day excursion from the capital tour. No useful information was expected from Yulia. The cost was 107 euros for one, this is a round-trip ferry ticket + round-trip transfer. You can ask the guide to book a hotel, but we did not do this, because decided to choose a convenient place to live. At the port ticket office, the cost was more expensive, more than 100 euros one way, I don’t even know why. So find out where it is cheaper so as not to overpay!
And another tip, read the reviews! What I have read is true!
You can write and write about Ibiza, so I will write a separate review about this wonderful place!
In conclusion, I will say that Mallorca is an amazing place, with crystal clear and beautiful water and landscapes! Probably, I will go there only in adulthood, in order to calmly enjoy the impressive beauties of the island. And for those who want a complete break, go straight to Ibiza!
