Just returned from Isabel Family Hotel. The holiday was wonderful. Before the trip, we studied all the available reviews and photos, there were not so many of them about this hotel. Upon arrival, we were surprised: the hotel in reality is much more beautiful and interesting than in the photo.
The reception staff was friendly, since we arrived quite late in the evening, we were offered to leave our passports, take our luggage to the storage room, and go to dinner ourselves before it was over. After dinner, we went to the reception, where everything was already done, they returned our passports, handed over the keys, drew a map of the passage to our room on the map and wished us a good rest.
We went to look for our number. By this time it was already dark on the street, we had to wander through the streets of the complex until we found our building. Everywhere there are signs with apartment numbers, but how these numbers were assigned to them remains a mystery to me. At first, we met numbers at 7, then at 5, then we still saw a sign with numbers at 4. It was a large building, with an elevator, our room was on the 7th floor (at least we had to press 7 in the elevator), but in general, in our understanding, this is somewhere on the fifth floor. And the rooms for 6 ended up in a bungalow on the other side of the pool. Where is the logic? However, we quickly remembered how to go to our building, and no longer wandered.

The room turned out to be quite cozy, exactly like in the photo, but it felt a little smaller than expected. Everything worked, no cockroaches. We immediately went to bed, and in the morning we discovered that the loggia offers a beautiful view of the territory of the complex, the pool, nearby hotels and OH HAPPINESS! to the ocean. In general, we were lucky with the room, because in rooms at 0, only the fence wall is visible from the windows.
The hotel is a solid 4. The furniture is simple, not new, but not falling apart either. The TV is small, not flat, 1 Russian channel - RTR-Planeta. The kitchen has everything you need. The refrigerator is not big, but we only kept fruits and drinks bought in the supermarket there, because we didn’t bother with cooking. However, the presence of a coffee maker was handy, but the absence of a kettle is a minus. Water for tea was driven through an empty coffee maker. Bed linen changed regularly. The sheets are old but soft. Towels - when new, snow-white, when very old turned gray, but always clean. Upon arrival in the bathroom, 2 sets (strange, we are the 3rd) of shampoo-gel-soap were found. We used only soap (for hands), the rest we always bring our own. There were no shower caps (again, we had with us).
Called the front desk a couple of times. On the 1st day, they did not find a remote control for the TV in the room, they said about it in the morning, they went to swim, when they returned, the remote control was lying on the table. The light in the bathroom was junk - they replaced the lamp on demand. Oh, by the way, the original TV remote control was found two weeks later under the sofa, along with candy wrappers from previous guests. It's about the quality of cleaning. In general, returning from the beach or from an excursion, they always found the room cleaned, but the maids, apparently, do not bother washing under the sofa. Otherwise, no complaints.
Liked the food. Pretty rich breakfasts - a large selection of dishes, although everything is very simple. The coffee is tasteless. Better to take with milk. For 3 weeks of stay, we found out that it is better to go to breakfast at 8-8:30, since most of the guests wake up by 9, and then there are queues for coffee, scrambled eggs, etc. Dinners are very good. There are always a lot of vegetables, side dishes, meat and fish dishes. If potatoes, then in several forms, if rice, then also: just boiled, and with vegetables, and with an egg, and of course paella. Separate rack with pasta, pizza and garlic bread. Separate grill stand: the chef grills both meat and fish in front of you. And on the main counter there are always several types of both meat and fish: fried, and stewed, and boiled, and in sauces, and without. There are always several types of cheeses on a separate table, including blue cheeses, and crackers and dried fruits. We've tried everything. From time to time there were seafood: langoustines and mussels in shells, but not as often as we would like... There was almost everything from fruits: apples, pears, oranges, kiwi, plums, peaches, apricots, grapes, on a separate table, watermelon already cut into pieces , melon, papaya, pineapple. I leaned on watermelon and pineapple (very juicy and tasty). My daughter leaned on ice cream: 4 kinds, you put as much as you want, next to the table with syrups, sprinkles, whipped cream and waffle rolls. I decorated my dessert every day in a different way. Desserts are also nothing: tiny cakes, and large cakes, and pies with berries. Yes, despite the season, there were no cherries and strawberries, but it was all in the nearest supermarket (Hyper Dino - 2 steps from the hotel). In general, for food 4+.

The territory is very interesting, clean, well-groomed. Streets, squares, each has its own name. The photo gives the impression that there is no greenery at all, only stones. In fact, there is a lot of greenery, and flowers, and palm trees, and cacti (where without them). Very cozy. The pool is big and the water is warm. On the one hand, a smooth entry - kids are constantly splashing there, although they also have their own children's pool. But the parents are apparently bored there, he is completely separate, so they hang out in the big one, along with the kids in the small. There were enough sun loungers for everyone, umbrellas - no. By the end of our stay, they bought a whole batch of new umbrellas and distributed them to those who wished. In general, the contingent of tourists is mainly Germans, British and Spaniards. Many have all-inclusive bracelets. Therefore, they spend the whole day in the hotel by the pool, where they drink and feed. There are very few Russians, and instead of the pool, they spend time on the beach, as well as we do. The nearest beach is Playa Fanabe. Walk for 10 minutes at a normal pace, moreover, we are with a child. Back of course longer, as the hill. But it's still not scary. The beach is good, we traveled a lot of beaches in 3 weeks, we decided that ours is the best. Good gentle entry into the water. No rocks at the bottom. There are breakwaters, so the wave is small, even with the wind. There are souls and foot washers. The beach is large, there are a lot of vacationers on weekends, but there is enough space for everyone. A good beach is Del Duc, but it is further away, and there the ocean is "more exciting", and the bottom is worse. Although the sand is whiter. You can't really get to the rest of the beaches without a car.
What else? Yes! There is no washing machine in the room, I knew about it, so I took more things, especially for the child, but still, after 10 days, the question arose about washing. It turned out that there is a self-service laundry. In the evening at the reception you buy a token for 5 euros, in the morning on the way to breakfast you taxi into the "lavander", stuff your laundry, throw the token and turn it on. The powder is already there, apparently poured automatically when turned on. You go to breakfast. On the way from breakfast, you come in, pick up the linen and go to the room (washing takes 32 minutes, we had just that much breakfast, slowly), hang the linen on the balcony and go to the beach. In the evening, everything is dry, you can iron it (I always take an iron with me from home). You can, of course, dry it in a tumble dryer, but that's another 5 euros, but what's the point? There is a clothes dryer on the balcony, and we also brought a rope and clothespins with us (learned from previous trips).
What else is paid? Safe. 12 euros per week. But the soul is calm. Pool towels - deposit 10 euros per 1 pc. Upon departure, the deposit is returned. Wi-Fi at the reception is free. You can’t get out of the room on the Internet, but the husband somehow connected through the nearby Isla Bonita hotel. Maybe because we lived on the top floor. On the other hand, the proximity to Isla Bonita was not very convenient due to the very loud animation, which lasted much longer than ours. It used to be until 12 at night. You could hear it even through the closed balcony door. However, this did not prevent me from falling asleep, and my daughter generally fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow, after daytime impressions and bathing.
We rented a car from Canarias. com, whose representative sits in the hotel lobby in the morning. It turned out not cheap, but they had a choice of cars with automatic transmission, unlike other offices (we found out). The husband categorically did not want the MCP, so I had to overpay. Hyundai I10 for 7 days cost 210 euros. + petrol +- 1 euro per liter. We spent a lot of gasoline because we traveled a lot. Of course, there are problems with parking, but we always managed to find a parking space around the perimeter of the hotel. In extreme cases, you can park in the free parking lot in front of the hotel, 5 minutes walk, but on Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a market. We didn’t go to the market, since it’s not a grocery store, but a clothing store, we decided that there would still be junk and rubbish there. The free bus to Siam Park stops at the same parking lot.

We left in the evening, and the room had to be vacated at 12. It was not possible to renew the room (the hotel was full to capacity), so, having packed our things, we left the luggage in the storage room, spent the rest of the time by the pool, and my husband and daughter on a yacht in the ocean - Decided on the last day to look at the whales. Then we took a shower (there are special showers for departing guests in the hotel, everything is there: clean towels, shampoo gels, shower caps (! ), and a hairdryer), and at 17:55 - on the bus and to the airport. Goodbye Isabel! On the bus, even tears welled up in my eyes, so I didn’t want to leave.
I can safely recommend the hotel to families with children and couples aged: quiet, calm, comfortable, has everything you need, and it's all very inexpensive. The youth will be bored. Hanging out is better in Las Americas.
