We stayed at this hotel at the end of July 2013. The first impression of the hotel is a shock. We got there at 2 am. Settled quickly on the 11th floor. When we entered the room, we realized that there were a lot of discos nearby. Stayed up all night because the noise was such that with the windows and curtains closed, the noise from the street was shouting over the sound of the TV. The hotel was built in 1979, photos of that time are displayed in the lobby of the hotel. And what would you understand, nothing has changed since then. They changed the bathroom, doors, painted the bathroom with a white paint brush. Tiles and furniture in appearance, probably remained the same. In the morning we met with the guide with a request to change the hotel (TEZTUR), they said no problem. I spent the day looking for another hotel, spent a lot of money on telephone conversations with the host. TEZTUR does not cooperate with those hotels that we liked, and for those hotels that we were offered, we had to pay 1.500 euros or more. And when I chose and compared the cost of hotels in Kyiv, the difference in price was 400-600 euros. She spat on everything, decided not to bother, relax and enjoy. I recommend everyone to choose another hotel. Let him not be on the first line, it doesn’t really matter there. all beaches are public and you will go to the one you like best.
If you still choose this hotel, take only breakfast. The food at the hotel is not tasty, there are a lot of places nearby where you can eat tasty and cheap. If you take dinner, then be prepared to pay for drinks separately (water, juice, coffee, etc. ). Coca-cola 0.25 costs 2.25 euros, water 05, - 2 euros. Don't expect shrimp, crabs and scallops, they don't feed anything like that. The food is exactly the same as in Egypt in an average hotel, even the sausages are the same. Separate conversation for the Internet. Internet is paid, including WI_FI, an hour costs 5 euros. I didn’t pay in principle, there are a lot of MSDonalds nearby. There will be questions, write, I will try to answer.
P. S. The island has great shopping. There are many shops in the southern part, but most of all in the capital, Santa Cruz. TM made in Spain is 30-40 percent cheaper than in Kyiv (new collection). There I thought about whether to buy some thing or not to buy, but when I arrived here, I regretted that I had not bought it.
