Good "self catering hotel", almost all possible amenities, but there is a problem with ventilation in the room.

I chose the hotel for the ratio "price - quality". And because I was already familiar with the Forenom hotel system: a couple of years ago I lived in the Forenom Koski hotel in the Finnish city of Tampere. The system is extremely convenient: everything can be booked online or by phone, on the day of check-in, half an hour before check-in, they send you an SMS with a set of numbers, which is a door code, so to speak, a key that cannot be lost and does not need to be returned when leaving the hotel. This key opens the gate, the door to the entrance, the door to the floor, the door to the room, the door to the parking lot and the door to the laundry room.
In the laundry room you can wash and dry clothes free of charge (by appointment). There you can take a portable clothes dryer, and a bucket, rags, a mop, detergents and toilet paper. There is also a toilet, and, as far as I remember, even a shower. While you are waiting for the laundry to finish, you can take a book from the shelf and read on a comfortable sofa, or you can drink coffee or tea, all conditions are created for this.
There is a porter's desk in the tiny lobby. In my time, there were two very nice girls on duty, Kaisa and Laura, who spoke excellent English. But in general, the receptionist is not expected to be on permanent duty at Forenome, he appears a couple of times a week, which is very pleasant for shy or unsociable guests. (He didn't show up in Tampere at all in a week. ) It's just that at that time all sorts of festivals and holidays were held in the city, so I was lucky.

Attention! If you come across a porter in Forenome, immediately ask him for a handle that opens the windows. The fact is that the windows are closed tightly, there are no vents, and the air conditioner does not suit everyone (in my room it did not seem to work, but in Tampere in a room for three from the air conditioner was of little use). So the room is stuffy. They gave me the handle from the window very willingly, they only asked me to return it to them after leaving or just leave it in the room.
The double room was quite comfortable. Right at the entrance - shelves for shoes and hooks for outerwear. Two single beds, night lamps and narrow shelves above them. On the opposite wall is a large TV. As far as I remember, there were 10-12 channels that showed programs and films in Finnish, English and Swedish, and by the way, every day you could watch Finnish news in Russian and Finnish news with subtitles for language learners.
The bathroom in the room is adjacent, small, but comfortable, with an electric dryer for towels (tub and manual - in two copies, one towel-mat). There is hand soap and shower gel, and in the shower there is something like a huge car "janitor", which can quite thoroughly drive water from the floor into the drain. The only thing that I didn’t really like in the shower was that there was no curtain or completely closing door for the “shower compartment”.
The room has two wardrobes for clothes and bags and a kitchen pencil case. In the wardrobes - coat hangers, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. In the pencil case - a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a coffee machine, a microwave oven, a complete set of everything you need for washing dishes and light cleaning, a set of dishes for two (up to cutting boards, bottle openers and scissors). I was especially touched by the bags of coffee and sugar that were waiting for me in this pencil case. . .
A table is attached to the wall with a table lamp on it. The lamp-floor lamp stands next to the chair against the opposite wall. There are several electrical outlets in the room, located on different levels. And the windows have blinds and curtains.

Since "Forenom" is a "self-service hotel", the garbage from the room had to be taken out by yourself. There were rolls of trash bags in the pencil case and a utility room with trash cans in the backyard. In the same courtyard there is an entrance to the parking lot, benches with ashtrays, and in the arch there are racks for bicycles. The yard is unpretentious, but wide and bright, you can see the old pretty neighboring houses. So if the windows of the room overlook the courtyard, it's not bad.
The windows of my room overlooked the street, or rather, the square between the three streets. The view is wonderful: greenery of elms and apple trees, houses in the style of "northern modern", a famous old (but still functioning) pharmacy. And since I had a handle that opened the windows, I was able to wipe them down and enjoy the view without any interference!
I don't know if the bed linen and towels in the room were to be changed this week. In any case, it wasn't. The floors and stairs were cleaned every day. In general, the hotel and the courtyard were constantly clean.
Near the door to the room there is a warning in several languages: please keep silence after such and such an hour in the evening! Apparently, everyone heeded the warning, or maybe the soundproofing is good there, but the noise from the neighboring rooms did not come.
The hotel is in the city center and is very conveniently located. Across the road is a taxi rank (and a massive green cabin of the free city toilet), nearby are tram and bus stops. Metro is nearby too. On the corner there is a practically round-the-clock department store "K-Market", large stores are also nearby. There are plenty of cafes and bars around. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the station, about the same to the harbor. In addition to the park, there is a dog playground nearby, as well as an excellent playground and a small football field.
In short, a nice hotel in a great area!
