We also liked the excursion on a pirate ship - children are allowed to steer the ship : ), we liked the discos, the beach. The only drawbacks are that food and souvenirs are more expensive there than, for example, in the same Sibenik. And for children under 3 years old, it’s hard to find suitable food for dinner, except maybe broth. And so there in the children's menu - french fries, pizza, vegetable and meat cuts, climbing... something that older children love : )
But in general we liked it very much, we would still come there. Maybe not in autumn, because the weather is no longer always sunny, although the sea is still warm.
Hotel Andrija 4 * is included in the complex (of 4 hotels) Solaris. Nearby, 6 kilometers away is the city of Sibenik. The territory of the complex is large. There are several bars and taverns along the coast. There are few souvenir shops. In September they may be closed , because the swimming season ends. September is the rest time for older Germans, so the animation is designed for them. For everyone else, entertainment on the beach (mini-golf, taverns and bars). Since Sibenik is located nearby, entertainment can be found in it. The bus runs clearly on schedule at short intervals.
In the all-inclusive restaurant, the food was quite satisfactory. No frills. It was tasty and satisfying. There were national dishes. There were enough fruits. Once a week, national evenings were held with national cuisine.
Excursions. One of the excursions was to the KRK waterfall + Sibenik. There is an opportunity to swim in the KRK waterfall. If you are not bothered by a huge horde of tourists. There are no organized places for changing rooms. and the area is simply amazing. The Croats have kept it in its original form. The KRK waterfall is a mini Plitvice lakes. Another excursion was in Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a very beautiful city. Sibenik to Dubrovnik takes 6 hours plus the collection of tourists from other hotels in different cities along the coast. It is very difficult to travel with children. Early departure and arrival in Dubrovnik, in the heat.
And here's what. Pay attention to the fact that which airport in Croatia you flew to (Zadar, Split, Cavtat) from it and will fly back. There were tourists with us who mixed up the airports. And they could not fly on their own flight.
Buses run from the hotel to Sibenik. You can go sightseeing or shopping. No problem to rent a car or bikes. For a walk on the sea, you can take a catamaran, a sea kayak, a motor boat with a 5-horsepower engine, if you have a license, then it can be more powerful.
In general, you can’t describe everything, emotions are more positive than negative. I wish you all a pleasant holiday. : )
The hotel complex consists of 5 hotels, more than 5 different pools with sea and fresh water, a spa center, various bars, cafes, restaurants, there is even a supermarket. A very long promenade (several kilometers), along which hotels, bars, swimming pools are located.
The cleanest sea, beautiful islands (I highly recommend: rent a motor boat near the hotel for 2 hours, float to the islands).
Very hospitable people. The staff does not speak Russian, so it is difficult to communicate without knowledge of English. Citizens from Ukraine are more fortunate, because our language is very similar to Croatian.
It helped us in one of the shops.
The saleswoman spoke Croatian, I spoke Ukrainian, and we communicated well, but then she asked something about Rechitsa, I didn’t understand, she repeated, I didn’t understand what she wanted from me : ) My boyfriend listened- listened and asked her: "bag? " She was so delighted: "bag, bag. " It turns out that she wanted to put in a bag all the purchases that we chose and held in our hands.
We lived in the hotel Andria ****. They cleaned well, changed towels and bedding 2-3 times a week. The rooms are a bit shabby, a facelift could do with some work. A camera, a video camera, a netbook, and all documents fit in a free safe.
The central air conditioner was a little upset: it blew weakly, did not cool, and when the balcony door was opened, it turned off. Pine trees grow around the hotel, so the room is not hot, but still stuffy. But we outwitted the system: we opened the second leaf of the balcony door, and closed the first one (on which the sensor is located). And the air conditioner worked!
So we used it as a fan and it was very comfortable.
Try not to get into the rooms on the ground floor, where the balcony is completely covered with shutters-blinds. Like in a crypt. The first floor has the largest balconies. On the third floor you can see the sea from the balcony.
Fed wonderful! Every day different seafood, sea fish, natural meat, veal, pork, dairy dishes, pancakes, all kinds of side dishes, vegetables (only tomatoes for some reason were not always enough). Fruit selection is small. Tip for lovers of strong tea and coffee: take it with you, because Croatian black tea and coffee are terrible. And flower and herbal teas are good. Soups, beer and wine are tasteless, there are no natural juices - as usual in all inclusive : ) We enjoyed the right wine and beer in the bars in the evening.
Speaking of bars. There are about 8 bars on the territory of the complex for every taste: with live music, and the good old 80s, and salsa, and a club with a modern controversial stage : )
I was very pleased with the unobtrusive animation: no one runs after you and yells: aqua-gym! beach wave! If you want, go to tennis courts, aerobics, play mini-golf, volleyball, paintball, jump on a trampoline (oh, we remembered our childhood, we jumped), learn different dances, fly a parachute, ride a boat or a scooter. And if you want - lie under a pine tree or by the pool, sunbathe calmly.
For children, animation is very cool: they play, draw, dance, make evening shows for parents.
I repeat that Croatia has a very clean sea, the fish swim right to the shore. No jellyfish! The water is cool and comfortable. The beach is pebbly, so I advise you to buy special slippers. It is a pity that sunbeds and umbrellas are not included in the price of the tour. All the beaches in the country are municipal, that is, for outsiders, the entrance is open, albeit paid.
A wonderful holiday for those who are tired of resting in Turkey, and in Nice - too expensive.
