The Krka National Park is located in central Dalmatia in Croatia, on the Krka River. Its area is 109 square kilometers. The park is famous for its diversity of flora and fauna: many birds and fish live here, and about 860 species of plants grow here.

The most famous place in the Krka Nature Park is the waterfalls cascading along the river. The largest of them is the Skradinski Buk, which reaches a height of 46 meters. Swimming is allowed in the waterfalls.

It so happened that we got to the Krka National Park before visiting the Plitvice Lakes. So they were overjoyed. Amazingly beautiful place! Cascades of waterfalls, lush greenery, fish, ducks - beauty! Here Nikola Tesla built the first hydroelectric power station. We took a tour on the beach. And probably in vain. In addition to the two of us, the rest of the group was English-speaking, so the guide girl was broadcasting exclusively in English. But it was absolutely unimportant, since during the entire excursion we heard no more than a couple of dozen words from her.
