The hotel is located right on the beach, has its own beach, not crowded, clean, with sunbeds.
The buildings themselves and the rooms are also in order - the buildings are two-story, there is a swimming pool on the territory. The area is very pleasant. the rooms are standard, everything you need is there, cleanliness is monitored, everything is changed, cozy. wi-fi is only on the ground floor in the lobby, it was enough for us to get in touch) Breakfasts are good, a lot of everything and tasty, natural brewed coffee is good, I can’t do without it)
To diversify their leisure time, they ordered more trips, but not from the operator, but from a local company, it was cheaper, everything was fine, we went to the national reserve with elephants, monkeys and magnificent nature, as well as a sea excursion to the islands - on a speed boat through the blue expanses - it was amazing! ) For the first time we took additional programs on vacation and felt the difference compared to just “rolling on the beach”) I really didn’t want to leave, it was so cool on vacation, we are sure that Thailand is one of the best places for this!
The hotel is located in a fairly secluded place, you need to walk or drive to cafes, bars, shops. By the way, taxi drivers and tuk-tukers take pretty well. If you are not in the mood to just relax on the territory of the hotel and the beach, then it is better to be puzzled by transport) - the most common option is a scooter.
I solved this issue in this way, plus I ordered excursions from a local company to make the rest more interesting. I visited the famous Thai islands.
In general, the hotel is more for families, for couples who go alone. For companies with friends, it may be better to choose somewhere closer to the center.
Hotel: neat, green, 2 swimming pools (1 with a jacuzzi), there is a lawn with tall trees where you can relax in the shade during the day. At the reception on arrival they take $ 100, then if everything is normal they will return it.
Room: spacious, clean, cleaning for 4, hair dryer, rubber slippers, it is not clear whether they were processed after the previous guests, washed bathrobes, kettle, coffee, tea, cups, glasses, refrigerator, safe. Mini bar paid, did not use. Tips were left at 20 baht - 50 baht (1 baht - 1 ruble). The air conditioner is noisy but works well. There are mosquitoes at night, take fumitox.
Breakfast from 6-30 to 10-30 is good, but every laziness is the same. Yoghurts, muesli, tea, coffee, fruits, bacon, ham, rice, pasta, toast, vegetables, scrambled eggs, fried eggs. Lunch and dinner tried at the hotel was not tasty.
The beach is clean, nice white sand, but flea dogs run around, good-natured. Sun beds with umbrellas are free, you need to borrow in the morning, some especially smart ones leave towels from the night. Change towels at the reception, by the way at the reception they speak English, and in Russian they speak more or less only “transv. ”, Cat. works there. The sun is cruel, take a cream filter 50, you can't go wrong. The sea is warm, the bottom is sandy, but in the evenings it bites (small invisible jellyfish pinch the skin, they don’t really interfere, but it would be better if they weren’t there).
On the "tuk" 5 minutes for 100 baht you can get to the Tesco store, where you can buy water, beer, alcohol, food, etc. You buy seafood and, upon request, they will fry them there (queen prawns. 370 baht). You leave Tesco on the left on the second floor of the ATM bank (red) at a favorable rate to change money until 18-00. On Mon and Thu from 16 to 20 the market comes, there is very good. Cheap fruits, food, souvenirs, clothes, etc. Haggle, the price can be dropped by 70%. Wallets, belts, stingray and crocodile bags, latex are best bought on the beach.
I liked to have lunch at the beach cafe, if with your back to the hotel, then to the left 2 “cafe” TON-KHOW, delicious soup with coconut milk -180 b, deep-fried shrimp-200b, Thai noodles, glass noodle salad, portions are larger than others . They cook well. You can bring your own alcohol. We had dinner at the Sugarcane restaurant on the right, from the entrance to the hotel. Fish, rice in pineapple, etc. "you will lick your fingers. " We went further along the road to the right behind the Dalar hotel to a Russian restaurant, they cook normally, but it’s too lazy to go 20-30 minutes.
We took excursions from Pegasus (Pegasus representatives liked us very much, they told us interestingly, they followed every tourist, water, wet wipes, motion sickness pills are all free. Well done! ) Maybe excursions are more expensive than on the street, but what if an accident? And insurance on the street bye-bye. Monkeys are wild, they can bite, At rafting, snakes sleep on branches, and the elephant is still at least cute, but a beast, cobras crawl in one step, although there are snake catchers nearby, but the snakes don’t know about it. In short, you decide. Were on a review ex. (Buddhist temple, snake farm, reality show with snakes, pearl magician bought beads, bracelet, latex factory - bred, fed wild monkeys - do not smile, otherwise they might bite. I liked it! Ex. Fantasy Cia-Park (2300 baht) with white animals, elements of Disneyland, show with elephants - a spectacle of MIRACLE! Rafting and elephant riding (2950 b. ) SUPER!!! ! Nature, tea from reed glasses, jungle, elephants, so warm, rough and sad, monkeys funny and impudent. Highly recommended!! ! SPA in the salon (3300 b), full of fun: sauna, jacuzzi, peeling, mask, full body massage from head to toes for 3 hours, tea, fruit. , since not everyone looked!! ! Good luck, I hope that the information is useful.
If you want to choose this hotel, then first you need to decide what you expect from your vacation! If you like peace and quiet, then you are in Amora. For us (a young couple) this hotel seemed too quiet.
Room: Upon arrival in Amora, they took us $ 100 as a deposit (which are returned to you upon departure) and immediately settled us on the 3rd floor overlooking the garden, without any additional payments. The room was like a room, ordinary, the main thing is that it was clean. every day, we left 40 to 60 baht for tea. All drinks in the fridge and nuts are paid! There is one Russian channel Russia 24 on TV.
Meals: We took a tour where only breakfast is included. And all 10 days they gave the same thing: sausages, cucumbers, tomatoes, cereal, scrambled eggs, a couple of croissants, watermelon and pineapple. There are very few fruits, given that the country is rich in crops. taste, they drank coffee, it’s strong, but you can drink it)) In the morning they give juices - yupi or whatever it is : ) There is another restaurant on the territory of the hotel, prices are the same as everywhere else, but we didn’t eat there (we went to Pattong, or ate on the beach). The hotel is located very far from Pattong (center), so if you want to have dinner without leaving the center (taxi 500 baht one way), then I advise you to eat:
- on the beach, where the menu is not very diverse, but tasty and not expensive;
- there is a cafe next to the hotel (on the right), the food is delicious there, but on the last day some small insects were found in the salad....the salad was not included in the bill, but it's unpleasant!
- Lotus - it’s a bit far to go to it, and you can take a taxi for 100 baht one way. There is our favorite Maconalds (almost the same as ours) and a Pizza cafe, the food there is very tasty, inexpensive and the portions are large, everyone is like us love : ) There is also a supermarket where you can buy anything you want, fruits, creams, shampoos, sweets, etc.
Beach: We have no complaints about the beach! The only problem is the sun loungers! They are sorely lacking! Therefore, we acted wiser, left towels in the evening : ) In the morning there is shade on the beach, the sun appears somewhere around 10:00-10:30. The water is clean, if jellyfish appear, then they are right there They also catch it on the beach. + Annoying Thais walk around, who also offer a bunch of all sorts of souvenirs.
To summarize: If you are a young couple who wants to not only relax, then you should find a hotel closer to Pattong (because we spent 1000 baht per day on the road). Good luck to everyone else and have a good rest : )
There were two adults and a two year old child. Pool view room, ground floor, first time in Thailand
What did you like about the hotel
1. Despite the peak season and 80% of the settlement of compatriots, there were no night brawls. Everything is quiet peacefully, many couples with children.
2. The beach at the hotel is located in such a way that tall pine trees (or their relatives) obscure the sun until one in the afternoon; the child is in the shade and there is no suffocating heat
3. Excellent infrastructure on the shore: food stalls (never had an upset stomach), massage, manicure, summer clothes, fresh fruit cutting
4. Breakfast is quite varied and not boring (buffet). We had an easy lunch on the beach (fruits, corn), and for dinner we either walked or left. Great place "black cat", you can get there for 100-200 baht. The prices, of course, are amazing, we ate all sorts of delicacies there such as foie gras, tuna tartare, smoked salmon, not to mention seafood and drinks for 1300 baht (about the same number of rubles) for three.
5. There is always a taxi and you can quickly get to shopping centers (the best "central festival" in Phuket) and museums. We were with the baby at the zoo, it is very cramped, but there are a lot of animals, in general it’s worth stopping by, and if you haven’t been, then it’s not scary. The husband went fishing separately, but there long boats like gondolas stick to the beach - you can also agree with them for half a day.
6. excellent massage, don't miss this opportunity
What did not like
1. The hotel is rather strong 3. The cleaning is bad and the tip does not help
2. Expensive restaurant at the hotel, only prices are written in me, and + 7% tax on the bill. A trifle, but not pleasant. Half of the waiters are lazy and unfriendly, in general it is better to have lunch and dinner in other places
