"Plus" this hotel has only one - the location a stone's throw from the station Kings Cross. For people who only need to spend the night before the train leaves, it can be convenient. Well, the facade of the building is beautiful : )
The hotel is noisy, dirty, cramped.
I have never seen such tiny and dirty rooms before. The footage of the rooms is not indicated anywhere on the sites, but I will not be mistaken if I say that there is 6-7 meters, no more.
There is no central heating. Its role is played by an old lame oil cooler, which, when turned on, begins to smell like burnt dust. This is not surprising, since dust is everywhere in a thick layer. The beds are narrow and short, perhaps for low and very slender fit. There are no duvet covers, a sheet under the blanket is offered, as in Soviet trains. True, a dirty blanket with suspicious stains at the reception was changed without objection to a new one, in retail packaging.

The bathroom is very small, with water everything is in order. The washstand (also a child's size) did not fit there, it was taken out into the room.
The building itself is very old, everything creaks, there is no sound insulation, you can hear all the neighbors. The stairs are narrow and steep, very uncomfortable with a suitcase.
Breakfasts are ordinary, not bad, not good - tea, coffee, orange jam, scrambled eggs, beans.
With such a small footage of rooms, you can only sleep with an open window so that you have something to breathe. We were not lucky - the window overlooked the street directly above the entrance. Until late at night, under our window, the receptionist guy was chatting on the phone in the style of “hey, dude” and showing some of his girlfriends a red car, turning on the radio and revving. theater of the absurd. In addition, the square, quiet and sparsely populated during the day, suddenly turned out to be very "railway station" at night - either the drunks were staggering, or the police were driving with a siren.
The room has a spacious closet, which is not always the case in cheap London hotels, but no tea/coffee making facilities, which, on the contrary, is almost always the case.
In general, I can’t say that “nightmare and horror”, but it’s better to choose something else. A more or less normal rating of this hotel can be justified by the exceptionally low cost of living. Personally, with a limited budget, I would prefer to live further from the center, but in a normal hotel.
I just looked at the description on the booking again, saw that now he has no stars at all (and he was 3 *), and they carefully edited the pictures. The photographer is great, I don’t recognize the hotel at all : )
