Hello! In this review I want to talk about our trip to Athens! Thanks to the advice of hotel guides (for which I would like to thank them), we decided to visit the capital. To be honest, at first I really didn’t want to go because of the rather long journey. But it turned out that my fears were unfounded. We moved to Athens at night, so we had the opportunity to sleep. And early in the morning, when the city was not yet loaded with transport, we arrived in Athens.

During the tour, we saw and visited a lot of interesting things. We visited the Panathenaic stadium. I don’t know what intrigued us more: the fact that the stadium is completely made of white marble or the fact that the first revived Olympic Games were held here.

I really liked the part of the tour with the royal guard. The guardsmen have very original uniforms and drill steps. Personally, I have never seen anything like it in my life, it can’t even be compared with the guards of Buckingham Palace (may my beloved England forgive me these words)))). The changing of the guard lasts only a few minutes, but then the memories remain forever!

Of course we climbed the Acropolis. Actually, for the sake of the Parthenon, I decided on this trip. The Parthenon is not only a symbol of all of Greece, but also the personification of antiquity itself. Of course, we were all amazed by what we saw and words cannot express it. I won't even try to explain what the "Acropolis of Athens" is, you have to see it for yourself. The children were very pleased and inspired, they wanted to learn more about the ancient Greek myths and gods, the exploits of Hercules and his friends the right direction and mood of development!
