And now more about our holiday.
A small cozy apart-hotel 50 meters from the sea.
The Almiros Beach Apartments hotel is closely adjacent to the Almiros Beach Hotel, so close that it is not immediately clear that these are 2 different hotels.
Almiros Beach Apartments (or River Club) is the basic Tez Tour hotel, only Russians rest in the hotel, the staff is all Greek, so minimal knowledge of English is required.
The hotel area is small, green, well-groomed, clean ...The hotel consists of 2 buildings located close to each other (one building is new, the other is old). We lived in the new building, and our friends in the old one. On site: 2 swimming pools, 2 bars, dining room, . . well, perhaps everything.
ROOMS: spacious, clean, without cockroaches (except for the old building). Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom - everything is fine. Cleaned daily, good.
FOOD FB - three meals a day.
Buffet breakfast: toast, butter, cheese, sausage, eggs, coffee, muesli - every day the same. Modestly, oh well.

Lunch and dinner: not to describe in words)) cool, tasty, a lot and varied. Every day something new : -)
+ for lunch / dinner, a drink is required - 1 to choose from (a can of beer / a glass of wine).

There is no animation. Mid-September - CLOSED SEASON (we were told so), but we heard that earlier on Sundays there were discos - which I can't say, because we didn't see them.
In general, the hotel is designed for a relaxing family holiday, only silence, and in the evening not a soul at all - all the staff dumps home, . . so rest as you like and do whatever you want. Only if something happens (! ), then you will have no one to turn to : -) - this is most likely a minus (-).
BEACH (sand): cool, large, long, clean.
Sunbeds are paid, for 6 euros for 2 sunbeds / all day.
SEA: beautiful, clean, transparent, calm, ...etc. BUT sometimes very cold. Nearby is a river that flows into the sea, it creates cold currents, BUT if you go further away, then nothing is normal.
This hotel is located 2 km from the city of Agios Nikolaos, it is 20-30 minutes - if you SLOWLY walk to the city along the beach and along the promenade (in the heat).
The CITY is small, interesting, with many cozy cafes, shops, a beautiful promenade, etc.
The Greeks give the impression of calm, friendly, open and smiling people.
PRICES for everything are normal, often in a cafe when ordering some dish they can bring you a jug of wine, a watermelon as a gift ...and something else - THIS IS VERY PLEASANT)))

If, in general, to evaluate the rest in this hotel, then I can say - GOOD. Of course, there are pluses and minuses, who has what requirements and ideas about rest ...
In my opinion, this is a family-type hotel - it was boring, there is no entertainment either in our hotel or in neighboring ones, there are few young people.
In the evening there is such silence, there is no one at all, the hotel area is not illuminated at all, the beach, however, too, so if you walk to the city and back in the evening, it is somehow creepy and scary.

And another minus, in my opinion, since the hotel is not close (2 km) from the city and meals at the hotel "NOT All inclusive" - ​ ​ then you will have to go to the city often and drag all the packages back to the ak ("Oslo taxi" missing) - it's annoying : -)
On the plus side, this is a really small, cozy hotel for a family relaxing holiday. A huge plus is the beach!
If you go around the whole of Agios Nikolaos, then this is really the best beach and it is very close to YOUR hotel!
