Hello everyone! I wrote about Halkidiki, and now I would like to share my memories of my vacation in the Peloponnese. Traveling to Greece is always like a sweet dream.

We rested in the Peloponnese at the Grecotel Ilia Palms hotel. The hotel itself is not luxurious, but it is clean and quiet, and most importantly, we could use all the facilities of the Grecotel Olympia Oasis, which was a 3-minute walk from our hotel. That is, food, pools, beach, animation, bars, etc. - everything is there. So much the better for us - we wouldn't want to sleep 15 meters from the restaurant.

And now about the main thing. If you ever have a chance to relax in the Peloponnese, be sure to take an excursion to the island of Zakynthos. The fact is that the island is really small, but if you are not on the island and you have one day to visit all the most interesting, then it is best to go with Mouzenidis Travel. Excellent organization, excellent guide (great gratitude and respect to Igor! ), interesting route. Everything is planned and thought out.

And now a little about our route. First, we were all brought to the port and put on a ferry. They sailed from the mainland to the island for about an hour and a half. On the ferry, we managed to take a nap on the couch, as we left early, and admire the views. As soon as we set foot on the land of Zakynthos, Igor and Olga met us with open arms. We were divided into two buses and we ended up with Igor (hooray!!! ).

First stop - turtle sanctuary! There we boarded a boat with a transparent bottom and went in search of a coach-coach turtle. We were warned that only one could surface, but we counted seven! Apparently they had a meeting there. They are really huge. After that we enjoyed swimming on the turtle island. The water is clean, warm, with fish!

Next, we went to the other end of the island. Along the way, Igor made us fall in love with Zakynthos, it could not be otherwise. It is not clear where the story ends and where the myth begins. Perhaps that is why this wonderful island will forever remain in my heart as a fabulous island.

And here we are again in the boats and already sailing to the bay of Novio. Along the way, we swam into the grottoes and sailed past the rocks. And the bay itself is a picture. The sea is turquoise, the pebbles are white, the ship that is stuck there has not gone away (who will move it). There was more time for swimming, but there were also more people.

Then we were taken to a tavern, where we had a Greek salad and fish. The portions are large, everything is fresh and tasty, we did not expect anything else. On the way back we stopped at a souvenir shop, bought local Turkish delight and wine.

Before boarding the ferry, we went to the church of St. Dionysius. His relics are kept there and amulets are distributed from pieces of his clothes, which are sometimes given to him by parishioners. Saint Dionysius is the patron saint of the island.

In the evening we took the ferry back to the Peloponnese. The sunset that day was extraordinary. From the beach of our hotel we admired the silhouette of Zakynthos on the horizon in the rays of the setting sun.
