Ancient Greece from Thessaloniki
Calimera for everyone! For the first time I am writing a review and immediately about such an incredible trip as “Antichka” or a sightseeing tour of Greece.
I apologize in advance if I go too far with laudatory and grateful words to the organizers of the tour, but they deserve them by 108%!
The idea to go on a sightseeing tour came to my mind on a fine May evening while watching a documentary on “Culture” about the ancient treasures of Greece. Inspired, the next day I went to a friend at a travel agency to find out how realistic it is to personally get to these treasures. Arriving at Ave. Mira was met by my friend, brought to the office of the company - it turned out to be hitherto unknown with the unpronounceable name “Mouzenidis Travel” (I checked the correct spelling with their website))))))). I left the office with clear information on prices and the content of the tour, which fully met my expectations. In short, in almost two weeks I was to fly to Thessaloniki, from where Antichka began.
Flew out on Sunday. Upon arrival, we were immediately met by a guide and the journey began! The week flew by like one day! Thessaloniki - Kastoria - Meteora - Delphi - Athens - Olympus - Thessaloniki. Treasure kaleidoscope!! ! Aris was our guide. It is unnecessary to talk about his deep knowledge of the history of Greece. The main thing, in my opinion, is that Aris managed to unite and rally our diverse group, thanks to which mutual assistance, punctuality and humor accompanied us all week.
It should be noted "Hephaestus of our chariot" - Vladimir. For the whole group, he was just Uncle Vova. Friends, everyone should be such professionals in their field as Uncle Vova! I shook his hand for a minute at parting!
Bottom line: under a thousand photos, new interesting acquaintances and an endless sea of emotions!
