A large company, 6 people, we decided to rush to Greece. The requirements for the hotel were the simplest: of course Halkidiki, and 3-4 stars and, not least, an affordable price. We managed to choose a hotel and even book 3 rooms in it, on the same floor. The hotel was called the Aegean Blue Hotel. It, as we learned, was commissioned only in 2010. It is not difficult to guess that the hotel is fresh, inside everything is modern and new. A definite plus is that it is always nice to be around cleanliness and freshness. Still, of course, a big plus of the hotel is its close location (I think it's called the first line)
The rooms are clean, stylish (I liked the fact that they didn’t save on the interior - there is nothing made of plastic, even the armchair on the balcony is wicker) in the room there is a refrigerator, a TV (many channels, there are even in Russian, but we didn’t watch for obvious reasons), bathrooms - shine. Cleaning and change of linen - as expected.
I have a creative profession and, in general, I never stop working, even on vacation (when work is a joy, it’s not difficult). In fact, it was for this reason that it was extremely important for me that the hotel had Internet, namely WiFi. I thought that I was the only one so "crazy" - on vacation with a laptop, but no... There were a lot of people with beeches, telephones and other devices for accessing the Internet. Absolutely nothing surprising: after all, free WiFi was throughout the hotel, even on the beach.

Food. Breakfast - the most standard (scrambled eggs, pasta, all sorts of cheeses, sausages, dairy products, etc. ) We did not take dinner - we did not want to become attached to the hotel. But we talked with those who ate at the hotel, they say it was delicious. We ourselves ate mainly in the seaside restaurants and taverns of Kalikratia. Have chosen in the same place one Italian restaurant Mambo. Prices in all the places we have been are affordable, on average 25-30 euros for two. There is also fast food, and generally for ridiculous money - we sometimes had a bite to eat on the go.
I can’t say that the hotel is full of evening entertainment, noisy discos and nightclubs, but where to spend time. Not far from the hotel there is an institution (I don’t know how to call it more precisely, whether it’s a club, roofing felts, after all, a bar), called "Freedom". Well, of course, it cannot be compared with the metropolitan clubs that we are used to, but we had a lot of fun there. Bar prices are also good.
We took 2 cars because we wanted to see some sights on our own - Halkidiki is famous for its monasteries and churches. In general, they were satisfied with the trips.
In general, we strove for a quiet holiday, beach pleasures and detachment from the rhythm of the metropolis. We got exactly that. Aegean Blue Hotel is a great place for a family vacation. Calm, but not boring - the golden mean between serene solitude and the frantic rhythm of other resorts.
