Hotel ratings by criteria:
Good hotel for families. The beach is marked with the blue flag of the European Union for cleanliness and, most importantly, not as crowded as, for example, on the Kasandra peninsula.
The only drawback of this hotel is its remoteness from all tourist places visited in the province of Macedonia, with the exception of the monastic republic of Athos - its territory begins 3 kilometers from the hotel. But, visiting Athos is possible only for men and with special permission. An excursion to Athos for tourists takes place on a pleasure boat, which sails along the coast at a distance of 400 meters (it is forbidden to approach it closer). You can easily get on this tour without the help of guides (and save at least 30-40%): you can get from the hotel to the pier in the neighboring town of Ouranoupoli either by the hotel bus, which takes tourists there after breakfast (ticket 2 Euro) or by regular bus, the stop of which is located near the entrance to the hotel (ticket 1.5 Euro). A ticket for a pleasure boat costs 16 Euro - the tour is conducted in Greek, English, German and Russian.
If you want to visit Thessaloniki with a tour, I also recommend doing it yourself. First, save money (at least 30-40% compared to what the guides offer). Secondly, you can spend your time in Thessaloniki more rationally. From the hotel to the outskirts of Thessaloniki (Chalkidiki bus station) can be reached by a regular bus in 2.5 hours (ticket 12 Euro), and from the Halkidiki bus station, first get to the final bus on the 36th bus, and then transfer to the 32nd, which runs parallel to the embankment Thessaloniki almost through the whole city. It is better to buy bus tickets in advance at press kiosks. In this case, the ticket will cost you 50 cents, and the ticket on the bus costs 60 cents. Moreover, the ticket machine on buses usually does not give change, and if you throw 1 Euro, you will receive a ticket for 1 Euro.

Of the excursions, I would recommend visiting Meteora - a unique place where two dozen Orthodox monasteries are built on skals. True, the trip is quite tiring, since it takes 5-5.5 hours from the hotel to Meteor by bus and, accordingly, the same amount then back.
