I want to say right away that Fereniki is a whole complex of buildings, including Summer Beach Fereniki buildings. And here is the most interesting. Those photos that are on booking or provided by the hotel are a photo of a building where only Germans and French are accommodated (they have separate meals and a different name and their own reception, and a pool, and a bar). Worse than the rooms in the photo are the buildings near the pool - they accommodate Poles and people like us, who paid extra 520 euros! For 13 days for two rooms (these are numbers that are from 500 to 600), so as not to live in that nightmare where we were settled, and where all Russian-speaking people are settled. From the master's shoulder they gave us a gift - air conditioning for free, and so - 5 euros per day per room. Given the terrible heat this year, everyone paid extra for air conditioning.

We have 2 rooms (rested with a large family): 10 euros x 14 days = 140 euros would still pay extra, even staying in those terrible rooms where we were settled on the first night.

And despite all this, soap and shampoo were given out 2 times for all the time and then at the reception, as well as 1 time and clean towels were given out in the same place and across the street and they had to be carried to the room. They cleaned disgustingly, the bed was changed once after 11 days, and then after another reminder.

I consider it very important to say that there are no elevators in the buildings or they are disabled, so if you are placed on the 3rd floor, then you will have to carry your suitcases up the steep stairs and then climb several times a day.

The pool is only near the "Polish" buildings, as is the bar. Other pools in the photo belong to other hotels, they cannot be used (an elderly couple encountered this, who could not understand why they were not allowed into the pool right next to the building. Their guide advised them to go to the reception at that hotel. Pay extra and use that pool. Otherwise case - walk a couple of blocks to our hotel room). The pool is deep and good.
But security is a big issue. There is no lifeguard at the pool. Therefore, when one Pole, emerging, cut his head very badly on the edge of the pool, first aid was provided to him by vacationers, who called an ambulance (it took 30 minutes). The bartender sent everyone to the reception, because it's none of his business. The man, by the way, had stitches on half of his head.

Restaurant. I understand that anti-epidemic measures, but it’s poorly thought out, standing in a long queue in the heat to go into the distribution room is a real torture, especially for people with children. If you have a plate of food in one hand, juice in the other, and you want more fruit or something else, then you have to stand in line again. And if you come later than 30 minutes before the end, then the most popular dishes and drinks may not be enough, we once had to ask for bread at dinner.

By the way, the steps at the exit are dumb, they are hard to see, there is no anti-slip coating on them, so people regularly fall there (I myself fell, thank God I didn’t get burned by coffee and didn’t cut myself with splinters. A day later a woman with plates fell there, hit her knee hard). The staff does not scold for broken dishes, they treat this as a common thing, they clean it quickly. There are enough tables under the canopies, there are a lot of places, but in the heat there is nothing to breathe, no ventilation was provided initially, without regard to covid. The food is ok but very repetitive. Lunch differs from dinner in the time of day. There was never seafood.

Beach. There is no question of any 1st coastline. One building is really close, all the rest starting from 200 m and more. Sunbeds are paid. The sea is clean.
From the positive: there are no problems with water, which were written in old reviews. The staff is polite.
Conclusion: if you don’t feel sorry for your money or you haven’t been anywhere before, then as an experiment, so that you have something to compare with later, you can go. I don't recommend it to everyone else. It's not 4* or 3*. Maybe 2*, but I'm not sure.
