In short: summer beach is an ensemble of sheds chaotically set up on every free piece of land, old furniture in the rooms, dirt and unsanitary conditions. Poor service and poor food.
If you are not too lazy to read about this pigsty:
Located in a small village, you can get around in the evening, 2 hours drive from Heraklion airport. To the sea 5-7 minutes on foot, umbrella + 2 sunbeds 7 euros at a "friendly hotel", a mountain river flows into the sea there, the water is contrasting and dirty / muddy due to underwater keys, but if you go further to the left / right, then the water is clear, beach brown sand, in some places small / medium pebbles along the surf line. The cost of an umbrella + 2 sunbeds at other hotels is 5-10 euros.
Rooms: Settled in a distant building number 790, first floor, it smelled strongly of dampness, in the bathroom the entire ceiling was moldy, after contacting the reception they knocked out another room. The neighboring building, 3rd floor, room 777, the condition is certainly better, but the curtains are torn, the bathroom is shabby, the furniture breathes with difficulty. When checking in, there was 1 bottle of 50 ml shampoo and the same gel in the bathroom, to the remark at the reception that they didn’t give us new ones, they said it wasn’t allowed... and this was for 9 nights for 3. By cleaning, they mean changing garbage bags in a bucket; they have never changed bedding or even towels in 9 days. Every time you go to the reception, you can hear someone swearing about the rooms, one couple who had a voucher for a room with a sea view were settled in a shed with a watering can over the toilet instead of a shower. Written air conditioning 5 euros a day, but we took the remote control at the reception and we were told not to pay, there was a small refrigerator in the room. Wi-fi €12/1 device per week, €20 for 3 devices.
Meals: All inclusive, but for some reason without water, water is only from the cooler at the reception and it constantly ended. In the so-called restaurant, of course, every day is the same, the choice is modest, but in general it is difficult to stay hungry. From seafood, only 1 type of fish, from fruits, only watermelon and melon. What they do not regret is oils, they shove it everywhere. Several times came across sour vegetables and watermelon. Alcohol is beer, dry sour wine and smelly brandy. Entrance for food in gloves (issued at the entrance) and a mask. To get food, you must first queue in front of the entrance.
Swimming pool: in the photo the tour operator has 3 pools, in fact there is one, the second is in the first, closed building, the staff lives in it, but the third one, which in the photo near the sea does not exist at all, as well as rooms with a direct sea view . The hotel is not on the first line!
Staff: The front desk spoke good English. I especially want to highlight the supervisor in the restaurant, a gray-haired, elderly man. Just tin, constantly with a disgruntled face, CONSTANTLY. Swears at waiters/cooks, swears at guests. A kind of kite constantly looking into your mouth. Remembering him, for some reason, only words come to mind that you can’t write here.
Welcome to hell.

I want to say right away that Fereniki is a whole complex of buildings, including Summer Beach Fereniki buildings. And here is the most interesting. And here is the most interesting. Those photos that are on booking or provided by the hotel are a photo of a building where only Germans and French are accommodated (they have separate meals and a different name and their own reception, and a pool, and a bar). Worse than the rooms in the photo are the buildings near the pool - they accommodate Poles and people like us, who paid extra 520 euros! For 13 days for two rooms (these are numbers that are from 500 to 600), so as not to live in that nightmare where we were settled, and where all Russian-speaking people are settled. From the master's shoulder they gave us a gift - air conditioning for free, and so - 5 euros per day per room. Given the terrible heat this year, everyone paid extra for air conditioning.

We have 2 rooms (rested with a large family): 10 euros x 14 days = 140 euros would still pay extra, even staying in those terrible rooms where we were settled on the first night.
And despite all this, soap and shampoo were given out 2 times for all the time and then at the reception, as well as 1 time and clean towels were given out in the same place and across the street and they had to be carried to the room. They cleaned disgustingly, the bed was changed once after 11 days, and then after another reminder.

I consider it very important to say that there are no elevators in the buildings or they are disabled, so if you are placed on the 3rd floor, then you will have to carry your suitcases up the steep stairs and then climb several times a day.

The pool is only near the "Polish" buildings, as is the bar. Other pools in the photo belong to other hotels, they cannot be used (an elderly couple encountered this, who could not understand why they were not allowed into the pool right next to the building. Their guide advised them to go to the reception at that hotel. Pay extra and use that pool. Otherwise case - walk a couple of blocks to our hotel room). The pool is deep and good.
But security is a big issue. There is no lifeguard at the pool. Therefore, when one Pole, emerging, cut his head very badly on the edge of the pool, first aid was provided to him by vacationers, who called an ambulance (it took 30 minutes). The bartender sent everyone to the reception, because it's none of his business. The man, by the way, had stitches on half of his head.

Restaurant. I understand that anti-epidemic measures, but it’s poorly thought out, standing in a long queue in the heat to go into the distribution room is a real torture, especially for people with children. If you have a plate of food in one hand, juice in the other, and you want more fruit or something else, then you have to stand in line again. And if you come later than 30 minutes before the end, then the most popular dishes and drinks may not be enough, we once had to ask for bread at dinner.
By the way, the steps at the exit are dumb, they are hard to see, there is no anti-slip coating on them, so people regularly fall there (I myself fell, thank God I didn’t get burned by coffee and didn’t cut myself with splinters. A day later a woman with plates fell there, hit her knee hard). The staff does not scold for broken dishes, they treat this as a common thing, they clean it quickly. There are enough tables under the canopies, there are a lot of places, but in the heat there is nothing to breathe, no ventilation was provided initially, without regard to covid. The food is ok but very repetitive. Lunch differs from dinner in the time of day. There was never seafood.

Beach. There is no question of any 1st coastline. One building is really close, all the rest starting from 200 m and more. Sunbeds are paid. The sea is clean.
From the positive: there are no problems with water, which were written in old reviews. The staff is polite.
Conclusion: if you don’t feel sorry for your money or you haven’t been anywhere before, then as an experiment, so that you have something to compare with later, you can go. I don't recommend it to everyone else. It's not 4* or 3*. Maybe 2*, but I'm not sure.

This hotel consists of many buildings and they are all killed in orange, except for one renovated, where the room number starts from 500, inside this building there is a swimming pool and a bar that can be used during the day for free. It is located opposite the gray canteen. Only foreigners are settled in this building, we are in the killed buildings. There are no rooms with sea views, or rather, there are, but the sea is far away and there is no point in paying for the sea. There was no cleaning in the room, as well as clean towels. they only take the trash.
The photos of the hotel, which are provided on the sites, are a complete lie, the photos of the canteen match. There is nothing to do with these pictures, everything is dead, especially the rooms on the ground floor, which stink of rot and dampness, you can demand another room, they change it to the same shit. The mattresses are uncomfortable from springs, they are 100 years old, the pillows are terrible, it is impossible to sleep, hard and thin. At the reception all the time there is an op, people swear and swear. All information about the hotel on our websites is a complete lie. All paid air conditioners, Wi-Fi. There are not even soap accessories, this is a SHAME for the hotel, when in the world of covid, they went into the room with nothing to even wash their hands with. At the reception, they sent me to the market for soap (the full aunt speaks only English).
The only positive of the hotel is the food. The food is tasty, but monotonous. The fish was only a type of hake, we didn’t eat it, and that’s all for seafood. From fruits watermelon, melon, orange and apples. It's July at the height of fruit. And I would like to say separately for the canteen, endless lines under the sun to get food, if you re-enter to get tea or fruit, you need to queue up again and you can get stuck there for a long time, and you won’t want anything. Let them go in portions. The water in the hotel is bad, like soap, we bought 6 bottles of 1.5 liters for 1.5 euros.
The sea is nearby, on the beach everything is paid 5 euros 2 sun loungers. The sea is cool near the clean mountain river flows.
There is a place to walk out of the hotel, everything is boring.
We did not sit in this horror, we took a car and rode around the island.
Crete is beautiful and impressive.
We arrived with the TPG tour operator from Kyiv, the meeting party was a kilamaki or something like that, I didn’t remember, the guide’s name is Anna, this absolutely inadequate person is rude, rude. Her duty is to help tourists, and she sends them. A photo of this goat is below. Let the Motherland know its heroes.

We decided to go to FORTUNA 2 * - and did not lose at all. Even they were delighted! And from the village of Georgioupolis on Crete, and from the hotel itself. It is located in several buildings, two of them have two swimming pools!! ! Three meals a day in a huge restaurant-cafe-dining room. . . ))) I don't know what to call it - under the roof, but open on all sides, huge and two-level. There was enough food for everyone and always. Even when we returned late from excursions, there was always something to eat and have a full dinner. Due to the fact that the hotel is located in several buildings, the dining room is separate, and all this splendor is not fenced off by anything - there was a feeling that the whole village was at our disposal... ))) Although it was so!
Although there was no animation and music in our hotel - in the village itself, many hotels sounded music, it was light from the lanterns everywhere, shops, shops, cafes worked, tourists hung around. The sea in the evenings was just beautiful! Colorful sunsets against the backdrop of the sea... Sandy beaches interspersed with huge stones gave color to the area... Standard room - everything is there and nothing more. The only surprise was that there was no cleaning at all in our room, although according to the stories of the rest of the tourists from our group, everyone had cleaning and no one complained... Well... apparently, the costs... When we went to Santorini for two day - threw off all the towels and bedding on the floor. Upon arrival - everything was washed and all the linen was replaced... ))) So we attributed the non-cleaning to force majeure... The rest was all great!
Separately, I want to say about food. Feed such a bunch of tourists! And it's so delicious to cook for everyone! In general, we formed a good company of 6-8 people and we were happy with everything. We went ourselves to the nearby cities of Chania and Rethymnon, we ourselves climbed all the surroundings. I really liked the place where the river meets the sea. . . I recommend everyone not to be afraid of FORTUNE on the island of Crete. . .

Age of tourists: 50+.
Tour operator Sunmar. Air carrier "Ural Airlines", A331, charter.
While memories are fresh, I want to share my impressions of the trip.
Who should not go to the Fereniki Hotel:
1. If you evaluate the hotel according to the pictures that are posted on the tour operator's website and on the hotel page in booking, and believe what you see.
2. If you have paid for a 3-star room, you know how 3-star rooms should look like, and you naively think that this is exactly the number that awaits you.
3. If you are an intellectual and believe that the meeting party is in every possible way interested in meeting your expectations.
4. If you are going to a WARM sea and hope to spend most of your time in the water.
5. If you want to see a well-groomed beach at the location of your hotel.
6. If you are unable or unwilling to take your own vehicle to travel around the island.
Who can go to the Fereniki Hotel:
one.
If you like to eat a lot, often and tasty, quality, fresh Greek food.
2. If you are a lover to drink alcohol in unlimited quantities.
3. If you are very limited in funds or have children.
4. If you are in advanced years and are not scrupulous about accommodation, and the main thing for you is healthy food.
Accommodation is the main problem of the hotel. Pictures of rooms that are posted on the Internet may be in this hotel. But these are buildings leased to Poland on a long-term basis, where the Poles are placed. These rooms are quite consistent with 3 stars. There is also a building on a long-term lease from Germany, where, probably, the rooms certainly correspond to 3 stars. Tourists who are not related to the European Union are placed in rooms that cannot have any stars at all. Because a working toilet is not yet an indicator of stardom. Although the impression is that the host side thinks this way in relation to tourists from the Russian Federation.
A full bus of tourists was brought at 10 am. The hotel knew that 50 people were going to them. And promised accommodation after 14-30. Even though the season was just starting and the hotel was half empty. The calculation is simple: people exhausted by a night flight, many flying with a transfer in Moscow, after sitting on their suitcases for three hours in the so-called hotel lobby, will turn a blind eye to the discrepancy between the rooms and their expectations, losing a full day of such a short vacation. Some of those who arrived with us were able to stay in the room only at half past five in the evening. Many, not satisfied with the quality of the rooms, looked at 3-4 rooms before deciding to move in. On the beach, I met a married couple who were not satisfied with any of the options that the reception staff provided them with, they were offered to pay 200 euros for 12 days in addition to the amount already paid to stay in rooms that are similar to what is shown on the site. And they moved to the Mare boutique hotel.
It turns out that these hotels have one owner. We were offered a room in the oldest building, number 9 - the end of a three-story old building. The room was slightly larger than two single beds pushed together but had two single beds pushed together. There was a closet, but to open its doors, you had to sit on the bed - there was not enough space to open the doors. There was also a mirror with a pedestal and a pouffe, a bare light bulb screwed into what used to be a sconce on the wall, in the corridor there was a bench for a suitcase. An ancient ethno-style curtain on the balcony door, the door was also the only source of light in the room. In the bathroom hung a cabinet with a bathroom mirror, with completely rusty hinges, one door was torn off, the cabinet was at least 50 years old, judging by the style. Like the curtain on the balcony door.
The unusually cold spring in Crete, the air temperature is almost the same as in Moscow, the rains - all this requires either blankets or the need to warm each other with the body. At night, we put two single blankets together, tried to move in to keep warm - it was not there: the mattresses of the single beds did not allow this either. To top it off, in the morning it turned out that there was nothing to hang a shower head on in the shower room, and in order to wash your hair, you need a second person to hold the watering can. And since the area of the bathroom is minimal, it is impossible to stand nearby in clothes and hold a watering can without getting wet through. So a completely idyllic picture arises: two naked people stand close in a cramped room and pour each other, fortunately, with warm water from the shower. The picture is quite romantic, especially if you are 20 years old. One thing is not clear: why did we have to pay for this idyll as for a 3-star room?
And the hotel took us 1.5 euros per day of tourist tax as for 3 stars! Frankly, we tried to get another number in the evening. Having read in the reviews that there is a new building with rooms from 700, and that there are normal rooms, we went to talk to the reception about relocation. We were given the key to the room just 700 - this is the first floor, a room with a window and a door along one wall, and the room is divided into two rooms, where the second room has no windows at all, and already from it - a bathroom. Probably, this room was supposed to be a utility room for tools and the like. But how not to make money on tourists! They made a number out of it. The smell of mold was such that the husband, having weak bronchi, coughed and coughed for some more time, even going out into the fresh air. So we stayed overnight in the first room. In the morning we came to the reception and found that the girl to whom we were directed avoided meeting our eyes in every possible way.
Again, as intellectuals, we decided to wait for the tour operator's guide, fortunately, he was supposed to appear any minute. Michael, who appeared soon after, promised to resettle us. With him, a girl with a Greek name starting with “D” began to talk quite friendly and offered us as many as 4 (! ) Keys for viewing at once. It seems to be trying to extinguish the conflict, right? Three rooms were on the first floor, where water flows from the street all winter, since the floor in these rooms is lower than the sidewalk behind the wall of the building. And the fourth room, although it was on the second floor, was also affected by a fungus, the smell of mold hit your nose as soon as you open the door. We chose one of the rooms on the first floor, it was somehow inconvenient already, after all, they gave us 4 rooms to choose from! There was a double mattress, we asked for an extra blanket. And there was a refrigerator. And you don't even have to sit on the bed to open the closet doors. And even in the shower there was a hook in the wall to hang a watering can. And, do not believe it!
- shower curtain And the toilet is not next to the shower. We decided that we would survive a week. I must say that during the resettlement we were given a paper to sign, that we are changing number 9 to a number such and such, and that we renounce any claims against the hotel. And blah blah blah in the same vein, the text on the whole A4 page. Before going to bed, it became a discovery for us that the bed was damp. It turned out that the entire mattress was damp. Probably, no one takes mattresses from the first floor to the upper floors for the winter, the first floors are in the water, the mattresses absorb moisture, and tourists are accommodated in these rooms. Which dry the mattresses with their bodies. In the morning, all the clothes thrown into the closet were also damp. And the next morning, my husband and I showed symptoms of chronic diseases: I have ovaries, lower back and cystitis, my husband has joint pain and cough. Already almost furious, we went to the reception. All the same girl who moved us the day before heard the phrase “The mattress is wet! and offered another key.
This time it was number 415, the end of the building with a window to the sea. The room has a mini-kitchen with a refrigerator and a stove, the corner, however, is 50 years old, metal doors, the entire frame is rusted down, but who is already paying attention to this? After all, the third day out of a full seven has gone! Spacious bathroom, watering can again nowhere to hang. But this is not an obstacle at all for rest! Spacious room, as old as the kitchenette, but with remnants of its former splendor: marble countertops on the bedside tables and ladies' nook. I really liked the window frames and the balcony door, painted in dark green. It is a pity if during the reconstruction this style of the 50s will be completely destroyed. No one has laid hands on this number for a couple of decades either: on the bathroom door hangs under the torn, hanging lumps, plastic, a yellowed sheet of A4 paper, on which the rules of conduct in the room are written in German. Once upon a time, the Germans settled here ...But a very long time ago.
Now they have a new fashionable building with a glass elevator along the outer wall in the style: concrete-glass. The room also had surprises, this is in addition to the fact that you have to wash together. The key to the safe was lost. Passports, and what was not needed on vacation, we put in a cell in the reception room, we were given the key to the cell. And there was one more surprise in this room, but we found out about it when we got ready to sleep. For now, we were almost happy. Going to bed, my husband sat down not very neatly on the bed, the sides of the bed parted slightly, the boards that hold the mattress jumped off, and I, having already dozed off, fell on the floor with the mattress. What I shouted out at the same time, I will not repeat here, but it is not difficult to guess. This situation repeated itself that evening again, and a couple of times the other day. And then we learned to sit on the bed easily, like a bird on a branch. But was that already a problem? We did not even begin to inform the reception about this feature of the room.
My husband and I are surprised by the attitude of the staff to the accommodation. We discussed it. Firstly, giving us a choice of 4 rooms the day before, the girl from the reception knew very well that other tourists had already refused these rooms, perhaps on the same day, due to dampness. Spring is late, the dampness on the first floors is terrible, and not even on the first, if the room is not warmed up well by the sun. Why did she offer them to us? Did you see that people are not scandalous? But after all, the rooms were not half occupied on the upper floors, and yet they are dry. Do they take pleasure in being humiliated? Like, you paid little money, you get bestial treatment, right? But given that these numbers do not correspond to any stars at all, then we have already paid money, as it were, not very small, for a barn in the spirit of the private sector of Anapa. Did the young girl have her own decision to treat tourists from the Russian Federation like cattle? Or is it from her employer?
By the way, the girl pretends not to understand Russian. But my husband was a witness to an extremely unpleasant scene, which I cannot but tell. On the day when the husband found out the fate of the key to the safe in the room, an elderly man arrived at the hotel. They brought him in the morning. And check-in, as I said, after 14. Grandfather in RUSSIAN asks the brunette from the reception: “Tell me, where to leave things? ". She waves her hand without raising her head and says in ENGLISH: "There. " Grandfather looks around, thinking that there is some kind of room, does not see anything, and asks again: “Excuse me, I didn’t understand where you can leave things? ". And the girl again speaks in ENGLISH: "I told you, there. " Grandpa looks around again in confusion, not understanding what they are saying to him. Then my husband could not stand it and said: "You are being told to leave things where they are now. " Grandfather was delighted, fussed, they say, thank you, but are you a translator?
For the first time in many years, there is snow on the peaks. And these streams and rivers are fed by glaciers from the mountains. Therefore, the water in the sea in this place is icy. And in general, in this village the air temperature is 2-3 degrees colder than in the same Rethymnon nearby. We left for the airport at 5 am, the air temperature was +15. The bus drove 15 minutes to Rethymno, the temperature rose to +18. Showed a thermometer inside the bus. Either because it was the beginning of the season, which was also late, or for another reason, but the beach in the Fereniki hotel area is not level. As the sea washed away the sand during the winter, so these gullies are still standing. Near the beaches of other hotels are aligned and well maintained. But, truth, sunbeds in the hotel are free. Internet in the hotel is paid. But there is a free cafe near the beach "Bella Inflia". Just ask the cafe staff for the password. I was told that this cafe is also the owners of this hotel.
From positive.
From my point of view, the food in the restaurant-dining room (buffet principle) is very up to the mark. This is a nice part of the memory of the trip. A gray-haired pleasant gentleman checks everything personally before each opening of the restaurant, then opens the doors, says “Welcome” and something like that, it costs all 2.5 hours while the tourists eat, sees who comes, how they set the tables, how they clean dirty dishes, greets acquaintances, does not go anywhere until the restaurant closes. Iron discipline, as in the army, among his subordinates, the restaurant works like clockwork. I saw a situation when two men came to the table that had just been vacated, put their backpacks on and one went for food. The table was without dirty dishes, but not yet covered with cutlery. The director of the restaurant came up, asked something, gave a hand signal to his employees, and immediately two young people jumped up and put napkins on the table, and on top of them forks and knives.
The waiters scurry between the tables, as soon as they see a free plate, they come up, ask permission to pick it up and take it away, they didn’t see any dirty dishes. All the crockery is new, with a chip, I saw only one cup for the whole time. The first days I saw not very well washed dishes, but by the end of the week, it seems, new dishwashers were installed, or the arrangement of the plates was changed into the machine, the plates became clean. No queues to get in, no lack of food or fruit. It happens that during lunch or dinner, trays with sweets are changed for something completely new, you can periodically go into the dining room and see new dishes that you did not see at the beginning of lunch. This is not to say that nothing is being done to improve the operation of the restaurant. Perhaps they are still delivering equipment, the season has just begun.
The day before our departure, a new second grill was installed and connected, and on the last day two chefs worked on two grills: one for meat, the second for vegetables, fried zucchini and eggplant. During our stay, tureens and dessert plates were added to just large plates, some lamps were placed near the grill in the distribution room, but they did not work yet. By the end of our stay, pepper and salt shakers were put on the tables. Once we saw how a respectable lady with car keys walked around the hall during lunch, looked around, then went somewhere with the director of the restaurant, then she came with a plate of food and sat down to try. We decided that it was the hostess who came with the inspection. The food is all fresh. The first couple of days I was afraid to eat something that was not from the grill, having read reviews about poisoning in this hotel. I don’t know how it was last season, but I soon grew bolder and began to eat both whipped cream and cold salads.
So the bought enterofuril was not useful. The food, from my point of view, is much higher than a 3-star hotel, the variety is such that even if you take what you like by a tablespoon, it is difficult not to overeat. Everything is very tasty, well, except for the soups, perhaps. Soups are not the strong point of the Greeks. Although it is not yet the season, there have always been red and green apples, oranges, grapefruits. A lot of sweets, at least three types of meat, stew in the oven and grill. Pork, chicken, lamb. Various vegetables in cold and hot form. Various cold starters and salads. Orange and grapefruit juices, excellent Greek feta, hard cheeses and sausages. Well, a bar with unlimited alcohol and fizzy drinks. Here I am not an expert, but people drank brandy in glasses, no one limited them in anything. But, fortunately, I didn’t see bestial behavior either, maybe I just didn’t get it.
The restaurant, of course, rests on this tanned gray-haired gentleman, remove him - and this enterprise can be closed. I met people who go to this hotel not for the first time, it also has an attractive aspect. Or you need to understand how to behave upon arrival, from the first minutes.
The rooms were cleaned every day. Change of beds every 3 days. The cleaning staff, as we have seen - the Greeks - young men and women. Cleaned not like in a 5-star hotel, but I have already told about the stars, here I have no complaints.
Before the trip, I read about theft in the rooms. I got scared. For many years of trips to Greece, I have already got used to the fact that in Greece you can throw valuable things at random, anywhere, without closing anything. Bought a lock for a bag. And then, once on the spot, I realized one thing: the first floors are behind the trees, the territory is large, there are many buildings, no one knows their tourists by sight. Someone is always coming and going.
The first floors behind the trees are securely hidden, the windows to the bathroom are large and, as a rule, they are left open. A lot of rabble of all sorts comes there from the vast expanses of our state. And if the cleaners dug into things, it would immediately be revealed, because it is clear who took the key. And besides, the room is always cleaned by TWO people at the same time. People hold on to their jobs. Even if, theoretically, some kind of kleptomaniac gets into the state, it will immediately show up. But if you leave the window in the bathroom open and go to the beach, and someone just walks by with bad intentions, then you can get in. You have to be careful, I didn’t see any cameras on the territory. We didn’t miss anything, the third floor and the last room on the terrace excluded a random person from getting into the room, and the Greeks themselves as a nation once again did not disappoint me.
There were also pleasant acquaintances.
Young Natasha from the reception, who has Ukrainian ancestors on one line, and great-grandfather Spiridon on the other, although she could not help with accommodation, she tried to help in any way she could. When we were not brought a blanket to the room, and the night was approaching, she gave hers to the reception. She was just nice and kind. She helped those who asked her to check in for the flight. The guide of the tour operator Mikhail, born in Moldova, Bulgarian, for all the years of our trips to Greece - the most adequate and honest guide. Apparently, just a decent person. We did not buy a single excursion from him, but we received honest answers to all the questions that interested us. And, of course, the director of the restaurant, I don’t know his name, this hotel is based on him. Remove it - and this enterprise can be safely closed, because there will be lawsuits.
And a few words about Ural Airlines. Even Pobeda does not have such nightmarish aircraft.
They stuffed the seats with such a density that a man of 180 height is forced to turn his legs to the passage with his knees, they do not fit. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable. So sit there for 4 hours. The thermal insulation in the cabin is disgusting: the air in the area of u200bu200bthe wings is like in an oven, and it is cool at the beginning of the cabin and the tail. People from wing to tail were seated in such a way that even non-reclining seats in the last row were occupied. Places up to the 15th row were almost not occupied. Seats near emergency exits were also forbidden to occupy. The stewardess said that they are paid. Babies sitting on the wing, overheated, yelled. I don't understand the policy of this airline. But I swore to fly them.
Will I visit this hotel again? Never. Even with the excellent cuisine. I don’t want to feel on vacation like at the front - to win back with a fight what I paid for with money.
If a hotel thinks it's not being paid enough, let it build a reputation and get paid more.

It's not three stars. He does not pull on 1. Rooms with fungus on the walls. Sewer smell everywhere. Dirt. Food is another creepy story. Powder omelet. Meatballs from boxes. Powdered mashed potatoes. Half-eaten meatballs at lunch are mixed with a terrible sauce and laid out for dinner and for lunch the next day. The leftover corn from breakfast is mixed with the leftover rice from lunch, tomato sauce is added and laid out for dinner as a special dish. We poisoned ourselves to vomit and everything else. Poisoned, as it turned out later, many, including children. The menu is the same every day. The dishes are dirty or you have to wait until they take them out. There are not enough cups. There is nowhere to sit in the dining room (you will come a little later). The queue takes half an hour before the start of dinner. The hotel is stolen. The police were called twice in a 10-day period. But the tourist has no rights. Wine diluted. The beer is terrible. All locals call the hotel the shame of Georgioupolis.

My friend and I chose this hotel because our friends and travel agent told us that three stars is a decent level for Europe. In addition, the photos posted on the Internet do not at all show miserable rooms, a canteen that can hardly be called a restaurant, one tap with diluted beer, which is proudly called a bar.
We settled in until half past five. There was an attempt to settle in some incredibly distant building. All four couples rebelled on the way there. They tried to convince us that it was for three days and for this we would have some benefits. But why do we have to live in a temporary room for three days out of 14? And in the end, that's exactly what happened. In the room in the "Montreal" building (the telling name - as far away as Canada! ) the air conditioner did not work, although in our contract it was he who was used. The receptionists turn on the fool, they promise to send a master (on the first day), then they promise to relocate us, but do not relocate (second day), and only on the third day they relocate us. Girls at the reception speak English well enough to
not solve the problems of the guests. There is a guy Nicholas there who speaks better English. I more or less communicated with him and helped several Russians solve their housing problems. There is a Russian-speaking Gennady. Another type! Obviously set to cover up the problems of the hotel. The building to which we were moved on the third day was much closer to the center. From the window we no longer saw a pen with goats and chickens and a shabby barn, but we saw a pool and mountains. This is a building with a spa. Our room is 207. As we learned from conversations with Russians, they all had to change rooms, but foreigners immediately got decent rooms not only with working air conditioning, but also with a TV. Now a few words about the room. Yes, the air conditioner worked, and the bathtub was much larger, but the shower place (you can’t call it a cabin! ) Is not blocked by a curtain, so all the water during bathing ended up on the floor, from which it did not drain into the right drain. As a result, our floor has always looked like a puddle. Our acquaintances themselves washed the floor in their room to remove water from the bath. Another joke. When you enter the bathroom and turn on the light, ventilation starts to work. She howls and creaks, probably disturbing all the neighbors at night. It was cleaned every day, but somehow. Here from the maids you will not expect cute handicrafts from towels and sheets that were in Turkey. Bed linen and towels were never changed!
Now about nutrition. Monotonous, often tasteless. How do they manage to ruin potatoes like that? ! Here the meat was cooked deliciously, but there was one thing: either chicken or beef. Same thing with fruits: always oranges, only once watermelons. The juice is diluted, only apple tolerant. The most humiliating thing about this canteen was standing in line under the sun. It is also humiliating to look for a table. We got used to arriving much earlier than lunchtime in order to take a table in the shade. If this is not done, you have to go to the lower tiers, where there is no awning over the tables (on the second tier, one third of the tables are under awnings, on the third tier, some tables are under umbrellas that do not give the desired shade). Alcoholic drinks. Diluted beer from one tap for everyone. Again queue! Already on the third day, we realized that it was impossible to drink this beer, and switched to wine, which was obtained from bags with taps. We sell such wine - it is the cheapest! By the way, alcoholic drinks are served until 22.30! What is the all inclusive system? As a result, we began to buy beer in the supermarket. And the last. We specifically chose a first line hotel. Maybe some buildings of this hotel are located on the first line, but our journey took 15 minutes and ran past a huge field overgrown with reeds and weeds.
Our vacation would have been completely spoiled if it were not for the three excursions that we ordered and two independent trips on the train. The sea, of course, is very clean, but cool - mountain streams and springs affect.

Upon arrival at the hotel, they gave a room without air conditioning, although the note on the ticket was AIR CONDITIONING !! ! They settled in room 217, dirty, with a sewer smell and a view of the road, where young people ride motorcycles and cars all night. In the morning I woke up and went to the reception. Requesting an exchange. Russian-speaking Genna at the reception exchanged by 14:00 hours. Gave room 364 with air conditioning. Linen and towels were not changed at all. But, at least the floors were wiped. Left every day for 1 euro. Cleaners don't want to work. They just pretend to work for the authorities. The hotel area is large. Five pools. Found only three pools. To the beach 100 meters. From the entertainment bar Tropicana, where there are no smells of sewage. Every day a different program in the bar. The food is the same, delicious. There are few places in the restaurant where there are few closed areas from the sun. Everything in stores is expensive. Food in restaurants is expensive. Especially the fish. I was just horrified by the price of Dorado fish. For 100 gr. 10 euros. And it's raw not ready. Portions are big. The restaurant service at the hotel is good. Trying to please everyone. Because the manager is constantly standing and watching the work. I won't go to this hotel again. I left my shoes in room 217. I simply forgot to pick it up when I was going to exchange the number in a hurry. After a while I asked Gennady if it was possible to find them? ! The answer was expected - No. The way different cleaners clean the rooms. The shoes are gone. The furniture in the rooms is old and shabby. I noticed that the mirror was screwed crooked. There is water in the room, both hot and cold. Sewerage sometimes fails. I had to wait for the water to leave. They don't seem to have plumbers. Or worth its weight in gold. I repeat once again - in Greece they do not like to work physically. Therefore, everything is expensive.
Это всё, что в комнате. Пол каменный. Холодный. Всё обшарпано. Унитаз грязный. Кровать в номере.

" He fully paid off his price, that is, according to the price-quality criterion, he fully complied. And it’s just a weak trio, with the interior of a Soviet camp site. We arrived at 10 o'clock. posted only closer to 15h. Probably there were no rooms, so instead of the standard they gave us a stadium, which made us happy. At the reception, tortured administrators patiently listened to everything and tried to do at least something. They accommodated everyone late, but on the other hand, when two rooms were vacated next to us, the Germans were already sprinting there at 12 o'clock. The plumbing in the room is very old, all the furniture and the interior is natural wood. An orange tree grew next to the balcony, the view was of the sea, lying in bed and looking out the window received great relaxation. In terms of nutrition, the choice was not great, which was offset by pretty decent cooking. The choice of alcohol was not great. Georgoupolis is not a big village, but on the very first day after the accommodation, they walked around the village like people who have achieved enlightenment - with stupid smiling faces like all vacationers, such a peaceful atmosphere there. With regards to the sea, here is the biggest problem, clean transparent, not far from the hotel, but!! ! along the entire coast (we walked about 700 meters from the hotel, from the coastline the entire coast is wet and flows through pipes or by gravity streams) it seems that in addition to underground springs, rivers flow from the mountains. Therefore, water in any weather along the entire coast does not exceed 18-20 degrees. Thrown with the sea!
We took a car for 3 days in Athos near the square for 83 euros, only there one Pole did not speak much Russian, and through him we learned about insurance. Going to the hotel, buy a bathroom curtain, a rope, come in handy at home in the "all for 45" store. Do not regret 300 rubles, buy a universal remote control for the air conditioner at home, you will not pay for it at the reception (we had a Samsung conder in our room). The overall impression is that the holiday was a success, but the red price of the hotel in the season is not more than 45.000 rubles. Have a good rest everyone.

The hotel is located in the region of Crete - Chania, not in the garden of Chania! ! ! The village is called Georgopolis. 2.5 hours drive from the airport of the capital of Crete, Heraklion. The tour was bought at the Fereniki 3 * hotel, 1st line, with a view of the sea. But! ! ! ! Accordingly, when buying a room "with a sea view" in the Fereniki 3 * hotel, this very view is not guaranteed to you at all. … More ▾ The hotel is located in the region of Crete - Chania, not in the garden of Chania! ! ! Accordingly, when buying a room "with a sea view" in the Fereniki 3 * hotel, this very view is not guaranteed to you at all.

In principle, there are quite a few rooms with a sea view near the building on the 2nd line, but at the same time there are rooms with a view of the wall or with a view of the market, and if you are lucky, as we are, then as a bonus to the view of the market there will be more and the toilet window of the next room overlooking your balcony!
10 euros at check-in in our case "did not work", we managed to change the room only by lunch on the second day with a view of a tiny piece of the sea. And although one of the buildings of the 2nd line has most of the rooms with sea views, but at the same time you will see both a landfill and garbage cans. And from five o'clock in the morning garbage trucks begin to drive, why not one, but several - remains a mystery! ! There are rooms (as we had, already the second one) that overlook a piece of the sea and at the same time the front door to the market in the other direction, so the endless delivery of tourists by buses is added to the noise of garbage trucks. And young people on motor scooters without a silencer add a special note of "serenity" to the rest!

In the rooms (studios), in case one of the tourists decides to go “without meals”: a refrigerator, an electric stove (2 burners, practically does not heat), a set of dishes (a frying pan, 3 plates, 1 glass, 1 teaspoon, 2 knives, colander (! ).
It is not clear how to use this whole set when cooking, but perhaps they add it upon request! )
On the balconies there is a table and 2 chairs, on the upper floors there are clothes dryers, on the 1st floor there are none!

We personally had cleaning and garbage disposal on the 2nd day and on the 7th day of our stay, change of towels once on the 3rd day. Of course, to be sure, a gap of 5 days affected the cleanliness of the room! ! In general, many foreigners were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel.
It is probably worth noting that we treat 3 * hotels well, especially if travel agents confidently assure that this is a solid "C grade". We are tourists with considerable experience, without extreme claims and requirements, we rested on a seaside vacation in 3 * hotels in Croatia, Montenegro, and the Canaries (Tenerife, Fuertoventura, Lanserote) and this is not counting " C grades” of European countries where we stopped while traveling, i. e. we have an idea of “3*”. But to be honest, this hotel would have been given a solid "2"! ! !
