Enjoyed the holiday in this hotel with my husband from July 31 to August 10.2011. Tour operator Tez tour, the host is also them. The tour was bought 1.5 months before the vacation, choosing an island in Greece for a very long time, before that they had never been to Greece, so it was difficult to choose, preference was given to the island of Kos, Mitsis hotels, but in the travel agency Dynasty, manager Tatiana I was offered the Mythos hotel, after looking at the reviews and photos, we decided to take it. We received a visa five days before departure, by the way they gave us a multi for half a year, which we were glad about, because there are plans for the New Year. Flight by Nord Star airline from Domodedovo, there are no complaints about the company, they have already flown, there were no flight delays, everything is decorous, noble. Arrival in Heraklion at about 12 noon, customs was not very fast, many flights arrived. They seated everyone on buses and on the road almost to Chania, and this is with arrivals at other hotels for about 2.5 hours. I gave the Tez tour tour operator a rating of 4, but it seems to me that they didn’t work out for it either, it’s not the first time we go from Tez, but I haven’t seen such indifference to tourists, but I’ll describe everything later. And so while we were being taken to the hotel, the boy (unfortunately I didn’t remember the name) who met us gave a lot of information on Greece and Crete, it was very interesting to listen to him, the weather was warm, about 28 degrees, but it was only in the morning, then in rest time reached 36 degrees. Our hotel turned out to be almost the last of the transfer, but our meeting guide left us earlier, the bus driver drove us there, but we managed without him. We were greeted at the reception with a smile, quickly filled out the questionnaires and here we are in our wonderful room, but I forgot to write the number, we booked the Junior Suite Front Sea View, I saw only three such rooms, this is a one-story building, behind the pool. The hotel itself is located in an excellent location - western Crete, between Rethymno and Chania, next to the national highway that runs through the whole. The beach is excellent - sandy, wide with a gentle entrance, which is very good for kids. The sea was very calm for the first two days, the water was clear, but then a breeze blew and waves appeared, they slowly passed by our departure. There are always free sunbeds, towels for a deposit of 10 euros, the money is returned on the day of departure. There is a small river on the beach, cool turtles swim in it, we went to feed it. The mini bar in the room is paid, the prices are approximately 2-3 euros, it contains beer, water, juice, cola sprite and wines in small bottles. In the room upon arrival a set of fruits + a bottle of wine, even bathrobes and slippers. Everything in the hotel is done with dignity, but no frills. There is only one pool, not heated. There is also a children's not big and near the slide. The hotel is very good, excellent food. We took food ALL. Alcohol, which is included in ALL, is all local, including Metaxa three stars, five or more are already paid, Ouzo, Raki, whiskey, wine, beer, etc. Martini was not included from the local, but only Dry. They make cocktails out of what they have. From snacks in the evening at the bar - nuts and chips. Bottled water in any quantity in the tavern on the beach and in the pool bar. You can always eat at the pool and on the beach. The animation team is present, not intrusive, there is a tavern on the beach, a mini-club for kids. Of the minuses, only - very poor insulation in the bathroom with the next room, and the beds - two shifted sometimes move apart. The resting contingent is Germans, Italians, Spaniards, Lithuanians, Russians and Ukrainians. There are many shops and taverns in Kavros. We went by train to Lake Kourna (5 euros per person, round trip) really liked it. We traveled with the tour operator Tez tour in Santorin (the price is the highest of all 168 euros per person, as it turned out later), we were combined with a Lithuanian group, it was terrible to listen to everything in two languages ​ ​ (even though all Lithuanians spoke Russian), our people began to be indignant, to which we were told that we should have been warned about this, the guides were not very willing to tell the history of Greece and Santorini, there was little free time, but despite this, the tour was very interesting, albeit tiring, at a gallop through Europe. True, at first they wanted to divorce us from her, we planned it for August 6, while telling the guide at the hotel that on the 5th we can’t have a wedding anniversary with my husband and we don’t want to spend this day on an excursion, we were told OK, we’re going On August 6, two days before, they started calling the room and saying that there would be no excursion on the 6th (storm), it would only be on the 5th, we refused, they said we would only go on the 6th or not go at all, but they did not want to return the money, and they gave us the go-ahead on August 6, but it just turned out that we were alone from Karros, and to Rethymno (where the bus was, it’s about 20 km) it was expensive for them to send a bus for us, but everything turned out better for us, they sent a taxi for us and back us also brought in a taxi. We saw our guide at the hotel only once, this is Roman Shirobokov, the guy is not bad, only over time he feels bad at all, when he is needed at the hotel - no, how many went to rest have not yet been so, all the curators sit in the hotel, but ours is not there, so they didn’t see him anymore in 10 days, it’s also not written on the tour operator’s stand when he happens, he was even 15 minutes late for the first meeting. I put a four on this tour operator, we won’t go to Greece from Tez anymore. I’ll post photos of the hotel and rooms, who are interested to see, next year we want to return to this hotel, not everyone looked in the area, regretted that they didn’t take the right, you can drive around everything by car (you can take a car for 3 days for 90 euros), we didn’t go to Chania, I’m very sorry, Mythos is the most decent of the hotels nearby. We went to a tavern in Kavros Romantika, a very nice girl from Ukraine Daria works there, they have such cool snails there. In general, the rest was a success, I will answer questions.
