We rested with my family at the Sineshine Crete Village hotel from 13.06 to 19.06. We come there not for the first time, as the hotel fully meets our requirements.
Firstly, the hotel is located far from the city, which is very important for us, because during the year we get very tired of the constant movement, the hustle and bustle of the city and we want to be in peace and tranquility on vacation.
Secondly, the price policy of the hotel suits us, we were looking for a budget option for family accommodation, and it turned out to be very cheap by early booking.
We are not picky about food, but I want to note that the food is quite good and satisfying, but there is not enough choice and only one porridge in the morning - semolina. And so the food is quite decent, tasty, fresh products, if necessary, the buffet is updated. The waiters are professional.
For lunch, we went to the Sunshine Crete Beach Hotel, where there was always a large selection of fruits and vegetables, and ice cream for children is generally a delight, but I would like more seafood, and most importantly, real Greek coffee, and not from a machine, a bit sometimes we went to a tavern nearby to drink delicious fragrant real Greek coffee.
Our room was very good, simple style, clean, without any frills. Cozy atmosphere, enough space, good furniture, TV, Russian channels, hair dryer, small refrigerator, the balcony is also furnished.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to help. For example, my husband had a birthday and I ordered a cake through them, which met our expectations and was very tasty. Moreover, in the morning they brought us a congratulatory letter with an offer to get a free cocktail at the bar, which made my husband very happy.
We also went to the beach at the Sunshine Crete Beach Hotel, where the child had expanse, there are many different water slides on the territory of the hotel and animation works, but the sunbeds there, of course, are a bit old. But we were not particularly worried about this, because for the transparent, emerald-azure sea, we are ready to close our eyes to everything.
They were satisfied with their stay. The hotel is not bad and suitable for budget accommodation with children, but, of course, it would be nice to do some kind of renovation. I really hope that next year our comments will be taken into account, and we will be pleasantly surprised.
