The sea has no words. Need to see it. So many never swam and sunbathed - they went to the left to the free beach without sunbeds until lunch, then dined in the restaurant below, put the sunbeds under the cypress trees right on the beach and slept until the evening - a song. We rented a car, near the market - we advise everyone to inexpensively, you can go wherever you want without expensive excursions. The air temperature is very comfortable +28 and a breeze. There are few hotels in Greece with such an extended beach - if only there is Almera nearby (by the way, it is all below and without overcoming the slides. )

The road from the airport is mostly serpentine, the transfer took about 2.5 hours we were traveling with an 8 month old baby, it was a little difficult. Crete itself is rocky mountains and serpentine. Very little greenery and vegetation.
Holidaymakers in this hotel are mostly Germans and French, there were also Russians but few, from Ukraine we are the only one and the girl animator.
The overall impression of the hotel is positive. As for Europe, this is a good 4-ka. The hotel area is quite large, pretty, green. But with a stroller it is not very thoughtful, you need to go around all the time. Good views of the mountains.
The sea is beyond praise, a small pebble beach. It is comfortable to enter the sea, the sea near the shore is clean as a tear. You will always find sun loungers, there are plenty of them.
The food is excellent, very tasty and varied. Grilled fish every day, always different. In addition, there are other types of meat, a lot of lamb, which we love. There were not so many fruits because of the off season... but the ice cream is very tasty and in large quantities, a real paradise for children! We were in an Italian a la carte restaurant and really liked the service and the choice of food, the wine is not on tap but in bottles, I advise pink very tasty. They liked to sit on the terrace and drink Italian champagne. In general, alcohol is better than in Turkey and Egypt, I liked Sunrise tequila from cocktails, rose wine is worthy.
It is good to go to this hotel with kids, for them there is a good animation program, a children's mini-club, a children's buffet, milkshakes, 4 types of ice cream.
The rooms are large, by the way, very good audibility, there are Russian channels.
Once we got to Ierapetra, a small town, there are shops and markets, they speak Russian everywhere, but you can buy everything in souvenir shops near the hotel.
The rest is quite normal, on the cleanest sea, but we will not go a second time.
